## Description

S&X Anti Slip Tape 24in x 60ft Grip Tape for Stairs, Ramps & Decks, Black | Heavy-Duty Waterproof 60-Grit – Non Skid Floor Tape for Wooden Steps, Concrete Floors, Porch Decks and Loading Areas: desertcart.com: Industrial & Scientific

Review: This anti-slip tape is definitely anti-slip. Definitely recommend to others. - Installed Heavy Duty Grip Tape w/Glow in the Dark Strip on 15 composite stairs, 7Nov2025 with temp ~62 degrees. With some patience and attention to detail, the process, overall was easy and well worth the cost. The strip and roller (sold separately) were delivered in 2 days and exactly as promised with only a small hiccup, which I planned for, by buying the longer roll (see below). Process that worked for me: - 1st: I cut the strips to desired lengths (I had multiple sets) and rounded the corners. - 2nd: cleaned the stairs going down and once dried, installed (going up) and rolling each strip before moving to the next one. - NOTE: When peeling the back to install, I found pulling about ~10 inches from one side, aligning with just a corner, then pressing down after aligned, worked the best. I then peeled about 6 inches at time and pressed with my hand, continually ensuring alignment. - After all the backing was removed, using a roller, I then rolled the length of the strip a few times, then went back and did the short side for the whole length. After rolling, the glue is on and will be tough to remove, FYI. - Be careful because when I wasn't, I left a little skin as payment for carelessness. The grip is just like sandpaper, as it should be for its functionality of purpose. I went with the 4 in x 60 ft size to ensure if there were any issues, I'd have plenty to deal with and this was a good thing as roughly 8.5 feet had the strip for the glow in the dark but there was no glow in the dark material. That was the only sort of issue, as there was plenty on the roll to cover that deficiency. I have a few other areas where I will still use the strips, as it feels that good, so this was not a waste. The material seems well put together and as such, its functionality is exactly as described, so Yes, I would encourage others to purchase and use.
Review: Great product! - This stuff is GREAT! I bought and it sticks like glue! Very easy to install. Excellent for safety on rental properties.

## Features

- Heavy-Duty Grit 60 Traction, Built to Last – Industrial-grade coarse Grit 60 delivers aggressive grip for outdoor stairs, ramps and high-traffic areas, helping reduce slips in wet or dirty conditions.
- Multi-Layer Coated Abrasive Surface, Less Shedding – Our multi-coat construction locks the grit in place for superior wear resistance, so the surface stays tough and effective longer than basic grip tapes.
- PET Backing Film, Won’t Tear or Wrinkle – Strong PET backing provides better strength and dimensional stability, resisting tearing, stretching and wrinkling for cleaner installs and more reliable outdoor performance.
- Extra Wide 24” x 60 FT Long Roll Coverage – Designed for large stair treads and wide walkways. One long roll covers more steps with fewer seams—ideal for outdoor projects and larger areas.
- Weatherproof & Surface Prep Matters – Waterproof and weather resistant for outdoor use. Best adhesion on clean, dry, smooth surfaces. For rough or textured wood/decking, sealing or smoothing the surface improves long-term hold.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great
*by K***Y on September 10, 2026*

I used this on my wooden deck stairs. It's been about a month and the tape hasn't peeled at all. It keeps my family from slipping on the stairs after it rains and because its outside, the glow in the dark strip works very well at night after a long day of being in the sun.
