These remotes are a lifesaver programmed both remotes in less than 30 seconds also very slim compared and old remote and has a longer range to open/close garage door great value, better quality and function very happy strongly recommend.

Work correctly on my older model Genie opener. Instructions outline programming for older vs. newer Genie openers and was easy to do. Garage door needs to be down when programming but this is only mentioned in trouble shooting section. Fortunately I read entire instruction sheet (it isn't long) and noticed this potential for failure so made sure door was down. Programming both hand openers took less that a minute and work properly. Excellent product at very reasonable price.
