Dependable drain catcher!!
it is fabulous, fits over existing drain and catches the hair that would otherwise slip down the drain. Made of durable material so it doesn't slip and slide it stays where you put it. Great product. This is my third one, I bought a couple for my sister.

It works great in bathtub popup drains!
This works well in our new tub as it has a popup drain. We clean it out every day, takes 1 minute, so hair doesn't build up. Once and a while we wash it with an old toothbrush and a disinfectant cleaner as conditioner can build up and cause dark yuk in any hair catcher! But this is a very good one that stays down!

Keeps hair out the drain!
We use this in the bathroom sink when someone washes their hair in the sink. With 3 women in the house and a recent plumber bill to snake the drain and learn it was all hair, this was a must. We didn't realize how just a few strands of hair from 3 women can accumulate. We use something different in the shower, 25 Pack, Disposable Shower Drain Hair Catcher Mesh Stickers also from Amazon. They are MAGIC. They last MONTHS and work fantastic. When we notice hair on the mesh, we take some damp TP and one wipe picks it up. The trick is to clean the drain WELL before sticking the mesh on so it will adhere properly. Super Easy. Super effective.

Traps the hair without affecting the drain
Absolutely perfect product! It traps long hair, which for my family is the cause of drain backup for us..but no longer! It sits on top of pop up drain, not very high, allowing easy use of the drain stopper without having to remove this trap. Doesn't affect water flow to drain, at least for me and a near 40 year old bathtub. I do rinse off and remove the hair after each shower by simply turning the tub water spigot on full which blasts the hair off of this making it easy to collect, and you don't have to fully lift it off the drain itself to do it. Super easy. Even so, it still works and drains water should you feel lazy and let it get a little hairy..it has plenty of drain holes which continue to work. Has a nice weighted metal ring built in too such that it won't float away or move off of drain. It's all around terrific and wish I bought this ages ago.

Effective at catching hair
We remodeled our old bathroom and have a new tub that does not have a lift up drain stopper. It is built in below the drain. The drain is 3 inches wide and the drain cover didn't stop any hair from going down the drain. After reviewing every possible sink strainer shown in Amazon, I settled on this one. We have used it for one day and I can truly say that it meets and exceeds expectations. It picked up all hair and did not slow down the drainage of water. As a precaution against back up of water and movement of the strainer, I place the strainer over the drain after the shower is actually running. It is a bit more effort to remove hair from the strainer but the trade off of catching our hair and avoiding a stopped up drain is worth it.

Save your money
Didn’t work for me in my walk in tub. Fits over drain but doesn’t catch any hair. I was offered a small refund but would have been nice if my original review had been posted. Do not recommend.

Save your pipes!
Honestly - best purchase I’ve made this year! I decided to grow out my hair for the first time and had been noticing longer pieces going down the drain. For the longest time, I didn’t think it was really much. I commented to a friend about it and she suggested I get a drain catcher so I don’t plug the drains. Let me tell you, this thing catches hair! I never realized how much was going down the drain!! I wash my hair in the tub once and afterwards there’s a wad of hair trapped in this drain catcher. I’m soooo glad I bought this. It fits the drain perfectly, AND lets me still use the pop up drain stopper with no issue.

This is a great item!
I wanted to leave a review for this because it works great! We usually use drain cleaner every few weeks but we've had this for a couple months and it's still draining normally. I was skeptical at first but it sits in place very well. My wife cleans it after each shower and especially after cleaning her hair and collects a good amount. Just a great device and it's already paid for itself in drain cleaning product.

Aojuxix Drain Hair Catcher: Effective, But with Room for Improvement
As someone who has dealt with clogged drains one too many times, I was eager to try out the Aojuxix Drain Hair Catcher. Here's my honest assessment of this product: Let's start with the positives. The design of this hair catcher is indeed upgraded, featuring a combination of silicone and stainless metal that promises to effectively catch hair and prevent it from clogging the drain. Upon using it for a few weeks, I can confirm that it does a decent job of trapping hair and other debris, thereby reducing the likelihood of blockages. Installation was a breeze, as the catcher simply pops into place over the drain without the need for any tools or complicated setup. The silicone rim provides a snug fit and prevents the catcher from slipping out of place, which is a definite plus. However, there are a couple of drawbacks worth mentioning. Firstly, while the catcher does a decent job of trapping hair, I found that smaller debris like soap scum and dirt sometimes slip through the perforations in the metal mesh. This means that I still need to clean my drain regularly to prevent buildup, which somewhat defeats the purpose of using a hair catcher. Additionally, the silicone rim tends to collect soap residue and grime over time, which can be unsightly and requires frequent cleaning to maintain its appearance. Overall, the Aojuxix Drain Hair Catcher is a decent option for preventing hair clogs in the shower or sink drain. While it's not perfect and may require occasional maintenance, its affordable price and ease of installation make it a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to minimize plumbing issues in their home.
