Works like Magic
Very surface how well this product worked on our pickled cabinet doors that were water stained. I was able to match the color with some alternative methods of using the product. After priming the cabinet doors and using the stain the color was off slightly. What I found out is after letting the stain dry. I applied the primer over the stained doors and then wiped down the doors with graining tool. The color was a perfect match with my other doors that didn't need repair.I used the Retique It Tripletique poly sealer and it goes on very easily. I had to use a few coats to get the sheen just right.

I was skeptical but….
I loved this kit. It was just enough coverage for what we needed it for. The 8oz kit did this and a larger portion upstairs as well. Really good coverage, super easy to use, incredible results that I could not be happier with!! I did add two coats of polyacrylic on top because kids but other than that the kit contained everything I needed and if I ever need to do something like this again I will be back for this product hands down.

Super easy and great results
I do a lot of diy projects and this process was easy even if you’re a diy novice. The kit comes with an instruction card with QR code to watch a demo video so you’re fully prepared before starting. Follow the steps as outlined and you will be fine. The only thing i would add is that I had to recaulk because I scraped off the old gunk to have a clean surface to start my project. I caulked before adding my topcoat and would suggest doing it afterwards. Because I used a silicone based caulk (to protect against water, mold etc. especially around the faucet and sink) it doesn’t take the topcoat well. It beads up on top of the silicone, I simply just did not think about it before caulking. I would say caulk as your final step to be on the safe side. I used the pickled oak color, wanted to go for the butcher block look with my countertops. The stain has some gray undertones, I didn’t mind but something to consider for your overall look and finish. The stain and wood grain tool does add depth and gives the look and feel of real wood. My kitchen looks brand new for less than $200!

Amazing
This is pretty cool product. While I had a hard time figuring out with direction on the smaller counter top... that was because I didn't want to remove the sink. I found the smoothest flow and went with that. Over all its an amazing product and I loved the end result. You must wait for the to cure for it to become harder surface. On to the next project. I will be definitely using it again.

Very pleased with results
This was very easy to apply and results are great! However, I used this on my 6 place setting table and was scraping the bottom of the jars because it was barely enough to finish the job. I got by but wish I had just a little more so I wouldn’t have had to skimp on the primer layer. Other than that, I loved this kit and plan on purchasing more. The seller was great to work with, I had originally requested a refund I had decided not to use the kit, and they gratefully obliged, but I decided I would try it anyway and so glad I did! Just make the jars a bit bigger and it would be perfect!

There’s not enough wood primer for a table top
This review is for the Table top kit. I need to leave this review to warn other. I got the kit on Friday so I was excited to start right away as I have the weekend to complete my project. It feels weird to see the amount of wood primer is the same as the stain and top coat (8 oz). There’s no where in the box indicating this is the table top kit.I watched many videos so I know I would need two coats. I was worried that there’s not enough wood primer, but I trusted Retique it.After the first coat, I know that it won’t be enough. Now I will have to live with an undone project for the whole week till my next order of wood primer arrive. If they sell this kit for table top, they should ensure there’s enough materials to work with. I’m a amateur so I may used more products than a pro, but they shouldn’t be too skimpy. There’s should be some extra products incase customers make mistake. Otherwise, don’t sell it as a kit. This kit is not cheap at all. Now, it would take me more than $130 to repaint the table top. I plan to do my cabinets if I’m successful with the table top, but it can cost up to $1000 easily. I may consider painting instead.I haven’t used the stain, but the primer is easy to work with. It dries very fast so you have be fast and don’t go over the same area many times.
