I really like this sharpener. It does sharpen serrated and regular blades quite well, good enough for my house knives and for pocket knives, small and large.Very happy I purchased this item back in Dec. 2024.

This is the best knife sharpener I have ever bought.

Revised: so I used this sharpener on several dull knives. It took a little getting used to but it did an OK job for a quick sharpening. I saw other reviewers give it 5 stars over and over again but I don’t think it’s that good. It is good for a quick sharpening but definitely not a professional edge. Overall it is good to turn to in the kitchen but I am giving it 4 stars. For my original review please see below.I was really looking forward to receiving this sharpener. Received it in a timely manner (thank you Amazon) and grabbed a couple of knives from our drawer. I ran the knives through a several times and tried the slicing the paper trick and didn’t turn out so well. Waited a day or two and tried it on another knife but it really didn’t sharpen as expected. I know this is a knock off of the real expensive sharpener but reading the reviews and how everyone gave it a glowing review’s I went ahead and ordered it expecting to sharpen all my knives. That is why I gave the product three stars. I am going to play with this a little more and will decide whether or not to send it back. If I figure it out I will revise my review.

It’s expensive but it’s easy to use and you will never need another sharpener. It sharpens so many things. I bought it because it will sharpen serrated knives.

I believe this may be my first review ever of a product. I use Wusthof Classic knives and some brand of steak knives that are not serrated. I have always used Chef's Choice electric sharpeners and have no complaints with them.I gave my daughter my parents TV Bavarian edge black diamond knife sharpener after they passed. I had used it several times when visiting her and cooking for them. I always thought this thing really does work.I decided to search these types of sharpeners on Amazon and decided to go with the Grihot. I sharpened honed or polished every knife I have tonight with it. 12 Wusthof and 8 steak knives. These knives are all now razor sharp. I had to use extreme caution when assessing the blade.The major benefit to me is this sharpener can sit right next to my knife block and be used with great ease. I don't have to pull my electric sharpener out of the drawer and plug it in for one knife.I give this product my total endorsement. I just noticed this review may get published under my daughter's name. I am her father and the actual reviewer.

I'm sure the product is fine however getting the exact one I ordered is another thing... Product comes in three finishes I ordered and paid for the gold obsidian.. twice it was delivered black obsidian.. hoping 3s a charm
