Actually, no where on the container does it say organic. It seems to be only in the Amazon ad description where it says organic.

Q: What is the current EWG rating for this product?

It was my understanding that EWG is a healthy food rating. However, I have found this product to be gentle on my hands . Also this product was not tested on animals.
