This product was recommended to me to use for my mom’s liquids from both her Dr. and Speech Therapist while in the hospital back in January (she’s 94 and has a hiatal hernia that cannot be surgically removed). It’s easy to use and mixes well. She hasn’t complained about the taste (win) The bottle may be a bit pricey but it’s more economical. I would recommend.

Very easy to use with the pump top delivering just the right amount (in our case) to make 4 oz glass of water “mildly thick”. Chart on side of the container tells how many “squirts” to use if have 8 oz water or if need thicker consistency.

Wonderful for thickening soup, sauce, salad dressing, chopped and puréed foods. It expands food options because you can add enough of a broth or other suitable liquid to chop or purée effectively, and then thicken. It doesn't change the flavor of the food. It does, however, change the color of water slightly, and it continues to thicken liquids after it's mixed. The instruction is to discard drinks not consumed within a specific period of time. I found that incredibly wasteful. I realized that "nectar thick" could ultimately become thick enough to stand a straw. I decided to use less, and thicken water and juice the night before so that by morning it would be at peak thickness. I settled on 5 pumps per quart for nectar thick. Make sure to keep the tip of the dispenser pump clean so that it never squirts in unanticipated directions. It's also helpful to depress the plunger slowly and hold the receiving container up close.

This is easy to use and to control the mount in each drink. The packs are good for travel

My adult sister uses this daily with all liquids because she is at risk for aspiration. It mixes easy but thickens even more if you let it sit around for few couple hours or refrigerate it. Then we add a little liquid to get it back to the desired thickness or throw the drink out and make a new one. There is a very slight taste if you mix it with just water.

My Dad chokes a lot after his stroke. His speech pathologist recommended this product. It’s been super helpful for him. It’s expensive but worth it if you can afford it.

Works great . No lumps and no taste . Just like your beverage only no choking .

Good . but: pump sometimes drips or squirts sideways. Overpriced. Once in beverage, thickens well, and tasteless.
