So where do you get the old fashioned one that heat up when you hold it in your hands. I am still using one from the 70s that is getting flat?.

I think if you replace the junk filing with bean bag filling it would be like the old school ones we remember.

I bought this item quite some time ago. I found it 'slippery' on bleacher seats. When I warmed it, following directions, it burned a hole in the material. I do not recommend this item.

What is the material (both sides)?

I believe it’s a nylon or rayon type of material. It really does heat up from your body heat and retains the heat while you’re sitting on it.
