WOW! I am THRILLED with this purchase! I shattered a bone in my heel and could not stand or put any pressure on it at all. I needed to be able to teach my elementary school class, which requires being on my feet all day long, and nothing was helping me until I tried this wrap. It was a LIFE SAVER! I wrapped my foot before work and put on my regular shoes... I was AMAZED how cold the wrap got and the pain relief was so good I was able to teach on my feet all day long! Another perk was, at the end of the day, I just rolled the wrap up and put it back in the bag it came in with a little water and the next day it worked as if it was brand new! I actually did that every night and used it all week!! Each day it was cold and successful- no way I could have moved around the way I did with ice on my foot. Fast forward a few months... I wore the wraps on both feet when I was pregnant for my swollen ankles/feet. Again, LIFE SAVING! I even wore them to sleep to help with swelling and the throbbing pain. I couldn't sleep through the night without them! I found another reason to use them last week...after a night of high heel wearing haha! Who would have thought?! It's safe to say I use Instant Ice Wrap for every pain/swelling I have! I am buying several more to keep in the house just in case!

Just got it yesterday. So far feels like a similar intensity of "cool" as a good topical analgesic cream or lotion. It feels nice and is better then strapping a ice pack to my elbow. My only gripe is, because it's water avtivated, the wrap is very "wet" depending on how you use it expect to cause wetness on contact like clothing. You may want to use an athletic wrap loosely over it to absorb some of the moisture rather then it getting on something. Otherwise a useful product. I got two sets (4 pieces) and switch it out when it stops working. Lasts a while though.

I keep these in my daughter's volleyball bag. she has a habit of throwing herself on the ground to make contact with the ball. these provide a way to keep pain and swelling away inbetween games.

This product uses menthol and propylene glycol to make it feel cold but the cold does not penetrate your skin, so it does nothing to reduce inflammation and little to reduce pain. I left it on my knee for over 30 minutes but when I removed it, my skin barely felt cool. Use real ice or similar, instead of this!

I bought this for my ankle and the professional biofreeze I have wears off quickly so I thought the compression with some icy would help. It doesnt really get cold and as soon as I opened it, the zipper pulled off from one side of the packaging, so it wont reseal now. The compression works really well, but I could just gotten an ace bandage and soaked it in biofreeze.

Great product for treating joint pain. THe basic First Aid for joint injuries is to ice, elevate, and use a compression wrap. This unique compression wrap stays cold, and also is treated with a menthol based feature, so the combination feel so good when you wrap it on. This product frees you from being confined to sitting with an ice pack. It allows you to walk/work/function through your pain. I could not take more time from work as I was waiting for knee surgery, which would have me out of work AFTER the hospitalization. This wrap got me through some bad times of bone on bone knee pain. Company also had superb customer service!!

Someone mentioned the smell. It just smells like menthol. I didn't mind it. It really does work. I've used one about 4x now. I just add a little water and reseal it. I only use about 15 to 20 minutes at a time. It does wonders for my elbow pain. I've also used it around my ankles. It is nice and cold, and actually stays that way the entire time. Even here in a hot tropical climate. I do imagine that someone with skin allergies may not like it too much. I love these wraps!

Was impressed by these, they really provided comfort and a very cool sensation. They say you can reuse up to 3 times, but even though I followed the instructions it didn't feel the same with the second use and even less with the third use. But will definately conitnue to have one on hand for all emergencies as they were amazing for it's first use.
