brilliant actors / actresses,great stories and scenery,cant praise it highly enough.well packaged and value for money.

Enjoyed watching this series, I like retro crime programmes like Poirot, Miss Marple etc so this was exactly to my liking, not for everyone. But those of you who like the ones I mentioned will love this.

This box set is amazing

Once you start watching this show, you can't stop. It is pleasant with its portrayal of the 50s, delightful in its manners and the cast are fantastic. Top quality actors and actress coming into the show, well known faces across TV and Theatre, which goes to show how loved this show is.Mark Williams is just brilliant in his portrayal of the loveable priest on a mission to save souls, finally the show cast the best inspector in Mallroy but every Inspector has been brilliant and brought something different to each role, what amazes me is each actor bonds and bounces off the Priest so well that is it sad to see them go.From Sid Carter, Ms MaCarthy, Lady Felicia and more, Father Brown is joined by fantastic characters who are given great storylines as well.I can honestly say there is not one episode I don't like. The BBC should be proud of this great show and the cast and crew should be too.

Liked all the DVDs in one box. Just wished they hadn't just been thrown in there all together.

I became addicted to the series father brown over January while needing great flu recovery TV. I bought the collection to fill in the gaps. Well acted and affectionate character depictions. The DVD set was only marred by the lack of organisation of order of episodes as they did not appear on any written list we had to find out by putting the disks in first. You can watch the episodes ironically enjoying references to strawberry scones and small village one up man ship and social snipping or enjoy the melodrama of a darker side of 1950s England. All good stuff.

One of my fav shows. I’m on a tight budget. Being able to buy the MUCH cheaper UK version made this purchase possible. Can be watched by playing it on laptop and using an HDMI cord to connect laptop to the TV.

Merveilleuse série, à prendre pour ce qu elle est, distrayante, personnages attachants et très bon casting. Pour amateur de l Angleterre des années 50 comme moi !

Excellent product. I love this series, and it is nice to have the complete 4 seasons in one package. These DVDs are Region 2, but I have a region free player.
