So glad we purchased this bassinet! There are so many choices when it comes to bassinets so I spent a lot of time researching! We actually purchased a VERY expensive “smart” bassinet that people rave about and our baby absolutely hated it! There were some things about it that I didn’t love either, so I wanted to make sure our new bassinet had the functional things instead of the “smart” features. I love that this not only had mesh sides but you can see through them! I spent a lot of time getting out of bed a night to look into the other bassinet and with this, I don’t have to get out of bed, I can see right through the sides to make sure the baby is okay. I also like how large the bassinet is because it makes me feel confident that the baby won’t somehow get stuck up against the side (even though if he somehow managed that, like I said the sides are mesh anyway). I also love the storage basket under the bassinet, I can put my breastfeeding pillow and burp clothes with lots of room to spare. Overall it’s a very simple design but it is soooo functional. It’s very light weight, which is nice to be able to move it easily. At first because it was so light weight, I thought it felt a little rickety, but once we actually used, I have no worries at all about it not being stable. It does not come with sheets but Maxi Cosi actually recommends to not use a sheet and the mattress cover and mattress itself are washable. Also their customer service is wonderful so if you a new mattress, just contact them. As far as worries about the comfort of the mattress, my baby had no issues with it and I will tell you, it’s got more cushion that the one from the previous really expensive bassinet we had. The Maxi-Cosi Iora Baby Bassinet was absolutely perfect for my little granddaughter’s first few months. It worked wonderfully as a bedside sleeper, making nighttime care easy and convenient. I especially appreciated the added sense of safety it provided by keeping her protected from our very affectionate fur babies while she slept comfortably nearby. Stylish, practical, and thoughtfully designed, it was a wonderful addition to our home.

Loved this for our little boy! It stayed in our room, but was easy to pack up for trips. High quality and sturdy. We felt very secure with him in it all night with the mesh sides. The top and bottom can be adjusted independently which was nice to elevate his head during those stuffy nose nights. Perfect for the first 4-6 month depending on size. Easy to clean and the bottom is nice to store extra covers or accessories. It isn’t compact, but did fit a normal master bedroom between a king bed and the wall.

Update: our baby is 5.5 months old now and we have loved every minute of having this bassinet. We ordered the bassinet for our third baby and while we haven’t put it to the test yet, I do have quite a bit of experience in baby gear and I am blown away by this product. First of all, I wouldn’t mind it staying in here even after it’s needed because it’s really a beautiful piece of furniture. It matches our decor and doesn’t look like a giant contraption that we can’t wait to get rid of. Secondly, it was extremely easy and straightforward to assemble. No instructions required. Third, it’s very lightweight but very sturdy and clearly built very well. I feel so good about having it before our babies arrival and looking back on how much I was debating between this and some other bassinets, I could not be more grateful that I ended up choosing this one. I read a lot of people were frustrated about how this bassinet does not come with sheets, but it comes with a cover for the mattress that can be cleaned between uses and I don’t see that being a problem. Definitely not something that would stop me from thinking this is an excellent purchase, and the cover for the mattress seems extra comfortable (more of a pro, not a con.) pretty sure this is my first Amazon review but I had to take the time to write it because of how impressed I am. If I knew how great this thing was, I would’ve saved myself a lot of time doing so much research trying to figure it out myself, so I hope this helps anyone who is looking.

Solid and sturdy bassinet for beside of bed and travel. Using as bedside bassinet for home and travel use. I love the bottom basket area for holding diapers/wipes/changing pads and breast pump parts. Had made second time postpartum baby are easy and functional. Plan to travel with as it comes with travel tote and can easily be broken down and put back together. Would recommend to first time parent not want to spend a lot on a bassinet but want something functional, safe, sturdy and travel friendly. You can position high or low and move it forwards or backwards. So many options with this. I also just bought extra bassinet sheet or cover as it just comes with a little mattress pad (no cover).

Nice bassinet but there is a massive obnoxious warning label that takes up the entire one side of the interior. The look and functionality is nice. It is a bit wobbly but feels safe. Easy assembly.

This is a great bassinet! We only use this bassinet for the baby’s daily naps during day hours which is useful because we bring it into our kitchen, living room or bedroom (wherever I am in the day) so I can get some house chores done while baby naps. We’ve been using it daily from day 1 of birth to 5 months old so far. I assume we’ll give it away soon as the baby will begin to be able to sit and move more freely soon. But it served its purpose and lasted perfectly. The only thing I didn’t like about this bassinet is the mattress pad. It feels more like a changing pad than a mattress to be honest. So I sometimes add the baby’s lounger pad inside to make it more comfortable for the baby to nap well. I love that it’s breathable and baby is visible to me wherever I am through the net sides. We never ended up using the bottom portion just because I had other storage preferences but it is a good option for moms who will be using this bassinet for night sleeps to store extra diapers and wipes. Just wasn’t something I used.

I was reading up on bassinets when I was pregnant with my second child. & for the money I think this bassinet is gold! My daughter has been in it as a newborn (purple onesie) til now and she is going on to 4 months (brown dress) & she still fits in perfectly. It’s very sturdy with the base and has a roomy bottom where I put all her sleep wear and blankets/swaddles& small basket for dirty clothes. Its goes up and down 3 levels and slides to either side to get it closer to the bed if you want to. I have the mobile toy from the playpen we use with my other child and it fits perfects on the side. Absolutely love this and I recommend it to other parents. It’s not super heavy and it brings a bag for travel which it is easy to breakdown for on the go purposes.
