I needed to be able to clear a obligatory code so that way I could see when there were codes that were important cuz occasionally the car that I drive does have some issues and they do show a code prior to those issues and I would like to know ahead of time and having this hooked up so I can check my codes as frequently is I need to is very helpful since I have a code that is on all the time for an O2 sensor since I have aftermarket exhaust and that leaves my check engine light on all the time and it's nice to see if there are any other concerns besides this one particular code that I already know about and cannot do anything about.

It either doesn't connect or doesn't stay connected. -10 out of 10. Cheap quality. Only thing fast was the payment taken for this device and the shipping.

UPDATE: Thanks to their excellent customer service and care, I've added back a star. It does not work with 3rd party apps according to them, so you may not want to believe any reviews that state otherwise. ORIGINAL: Bought it to use with a 3rd party app, as was stated in the description. Cannot get it to work with a very common OBD2 app. (I did not install the Amtifo app and attempt to use it as that's not what I purchased it for.) I will attempt to contact seller and update if applicable.

The price is incredibly lower than any other OBD2 devices in the market, but the quality is reliable and satisfactory. No hassles on app installation or interfacing between the app and the device. Only took less than 5 minutes from the app installation and finishing the diagnostics. Tips: After completion of the scanning, I had an unexpected 'engine block' warning light on the dashboard, but the error light was gone by itself on the next day.

First time using a Code reader so I wanted something simple and easy to use and understand. Well this is it. Literally plug it in, download the app, and it will do the rest. Anyone who owns a Jeep knows all the issues it can have, this is perfect for a Jeep! I like that it automatically picked up my VIN and has free updates. The Data it gives is informative, and has good compatability.

Been using this tool over a week on my Audi A4 B7. No issues with connecting to my Android phone. Just follow the instructions from little manual. It gots it's own app and UI is pretty clean and impressive, plus you can connect with another third party apps. There are loads of functions and options in its own app and I'm still exploring. 100% would recommend.
