Haute42 T16 leverless controller
I just wanted to say that I'm new to leverless controller and wanted to try one out for fighting games while on a budget. This item had I believe something like 15-20% discount which seemed like a bargain to me.Controller came and my initial thoughts were maybe my hands are not as big for it and the s16 or m16 version would be better... but I kept trying it on training mode for a few days before I actually went online for rank/casuals play. There is a learning curve and I'm still on that curve but compared to my thoughts the first day I got it...(regret etc) now is a day and night difference after about 1 week of daily use.In fact I went back to the PS4 controller and I gotta say I'm perhaps at the same level as the controller already if not even higher... so there goes that for leverless.Built quality seems sturdy I like the buttons how they feel and everything so far I'm more than satisfied with my purchase.Durability, time will tell. I am taking good care of it and keep it safe and in an rugged plastic envelope when not in use.For lap use is perfect size which is what I needed that's why I went with the T16 version and not the smaller 16's.So keep that in mind if you are on the verge, this particular controller seems more for bigger hands as the buttons seemed to be spread out more than the smaller size verions... but I'm confortable with it.There goes my review and opinion which I almost never do, but took me a good number of days undecided with which to go and $$$ etc, I say you cant go wrong with this and at this price point is cheaper than building your own even if is on a cardboard box. Excellent leverless controller
It's a cheap mass produced controller so I'm not surprised there are some bad reviews for the haute boards. The squeaking when it's bended slightly stuck out to me when I first got it but it's not a huge deal. It looks really good and doesn't feel cheap when I'm using it. I switched to this T16 from a Qanba Dragon and I think the stock buttons on this don't feel as good as Sanwas so I ordered wind engine switches which hopefully will improve the feel of the buttons. I don't feel any input lag at all, in fact my inputs have improved so much after playing with the T16 that I ranked up from gold to plat in a day in SF6. I've had it for a month so I'm confident that I didn't get a lemon and it'll last me a long time.

The media could not be loaded.

Pretty much the best budget stick I could've asked for
This is my first stick, and it feels like robbery for the price. I'm so used to seeing quality sticks being sold from around the low 100s to upper 200s, and it's still crazy that this stick (probably) works and functions just as well for a fraction of the price. Switch, PC, and D-Input compatibility out of the box gives it even more bang for its buck, as opposed to those expensive sticks that are only compatible with one or two systems. You can also customize the art and there's even a mini led screen that can display inputs.I only have a two small gripes with this that keep it from being 100% perfect for any beginner player/person looking to try leverless.1. No PS5 plug-n-play. If you want to play in a tournament, where it'll probably be a mix of PS4s and 5s, you're gonna have to update your firmware and then buy an adapter. This will bump the price up by around 30 or 60 bucks depending on the one you want (Mayflash MagicBoot 1.1 or Brook Wingman respectively)2. Creaking. A much smaller issue, but the stick can get annoying and creak when you're playing. There's a simple solution, just loosen the screws a little bit and you'll be fine.Overall, it's still well worth the money if you can afford it. It might be more expensive than Mayflash's cheapest offerings, but I haven't been able to try those. All I know is I'm loving this so far.
