Reasons to buy this bottle!1. Love the variable flow nipple design and functionality. We can use it to feed just milk, or milk with some baby cereal mixed in.2. Three parts, super easy to clean, the nipple are durable3. Unlike the comotomo bottles the flat plastic bottom keeps it from rolling around and falling off of surfaces4. Unlike a few other bottles we have, the markings on the side are dark so in low light feedings you can see how much the baby has had much more easily5. Curved design is easy to hold6. Parts are all interchangeable between the smaller and larger bottles, different volume nipples, etc.7. The nipple is small and shaped in a way that you know it's full when it's in the baby's mouth - I.e. bottles where the nipple has a greater surface area it's harder to see if there is milk filling the spout, which risks air getting in and causing gas. But the shape still simulates a breast so should help with babies that are both breast- and bottle-fed.We had a bottle sampler with comotomo, nuk, Dr browns, and nanobebe and while each has its benefits the Avent ended up my favorites. Pair it with the variable flow nipples to have a 3-in-1 option for flow speed!

I had tried several brands of bottles and my baby had a hard time drinking from all of them. I finally bought this Avent bottle and it was the only one he could handle because of the shape of the nipple. The shape makes it easy to manage and I like how it has several different measurements on it. The width of the bottle makes it even easier to clean. The only thing I've noticed that I don't care for is that if the temperature of the bottle cools by being placed in refrigerator, the cap seems to loosen and needs to be tightened again. But it's still my favorite choice for bottle.

Good quality bottles. They’re really good bottles if you’re breastfeeding and need your baby to take a bottle it’s an easy adjustment !

We’ve only tried and currently used the philips avent bottles. The 9oz bottle is the perfect size for daycare (refrigerator cubby) and for traveling (fits most insulated cooler bags, and the insulated sections for diaper bags (o have 3 and it fits for all 3). Some bottles can be too tall or too wide. The wide mouth makes it super easy to clean when washing. The shape also makes it easy for our baby to hold (been feeding himself at daycare since 4.5 months). Favorite bottles!

This is THE only bottle my daughter will use. I have a literally tried so many brands. She is seven months old and she has not had a bottle until now because she literally has refused to drink anything else other than from mommy. The bottle nipple feels so natural and is flexible which I think is comforting to her. I am so happy I found these in my Amazon gift box for creating a baby registry. Because of that I have bought more.

My first child would only take Avent bottles, so when we had our second I immediately ordered some new ones. He currently only takes about 3-4 oz at a time, so he's still using the smaller 5 oz bottles, but as he gets older, if he takes more or we add baby cereal to make it thicker, these will come in handy. Plus we use them at home when my husband or the grandparents need to feed him and we send the smaller ones to daycare.
