Luxury Goose Down Pillow, Hotel Bed Pillows for Sleeping Soft and Support for Side & Back Sleepers (Standard of 1)

You know that favorite goose down pillow you’ve had that has lost a lot of feathers over the years but you love it because it’s so squishy and pliable? You don’t want to throw it away because you are afraid you won’t be able to find anything comparable. Well this pillow is that pillow but new. I’m not sure if I ordered this in soft or medium but what I received is so perfect because it’s not overly stuffed and I can fold it in half and squish it under my neck better than my other goose down pillows. Some people might not like this, but for those of us that like flatter pillows ,this is really comfortable . Also it is truly goose down with no pokey, crunchy feather quills. Oh, and no funky smell. I’m happy.

The pillow came folded and secured in the nice quality box showed in the product image. Opening the box the contents were neatly folded and encased in plastic wrap. The pillow came with a pillow case which is one of the softest/silkiest/satin (without being silk or satin!) that I’ve felt in a long time. I hope the way it feels withstands the washing machine.The pillow itself is fine. It looks like a standard pillow. After removing it from the bag and unfolding it I put it in the case and gave it a few hours to inflate itself to normal (not sure if this was needed, but neither was the pillow at the time.)The real test comes to how it feels and its usefulness, and this is where your mileage will vary as everyone has a different comfort level when it comes to pillows. I prefer pillows that are full of fluff of whatever else and that I can sink into them but they retain some firmness. This is not that kind of pillow. Resting on it deflates it instantly and I’m left feeling like I’m holding a mostly empty pillow case. I did find it to be a useful semi-body pillow. Partway through the night my wife tried it and felt the same as I. This is not a dig on the product, or to say there is anything wrong with it because there it not, and again it’s up to the preference of the sleeper. If that is the kind of pillow you like then you will be 100% happy with the purchase. For me, I wish it had 100% more stuff inside and then it would probably have been great for me. We then gave it to our son and he said it was awesome after he used it.5 Stars if you like flatter pillows. It does retain its cool temperature which is nice!

The pillow arrived rolled up in a bag, with an extremely soft cover. After a couple of shakes and a few minutes it was fully stretched out to its true size and fluffiness, ready to be used. I’m not going to bore you with technical details on hypoallergenic materials, threat count, etc. I like medium-low pillows. This one is exactly that. It feels super comfortable for a side sleeper, and I don’t feel like my face is buried in the pillow. I have decided to use it also to watch TV from my recliner sofa, to add some soft support. I could not be happier with it. The price is not cheap, but very reasonable for the quality, and I have learned that, while pillows and mattresses are a very personal thing, and each person has different likes and expectations, I like to read reviews where I can see that others pay attention to the same details and features as I do. In summary, it is soft and comfortable, fluffy enough to enjoy the contact with your head and neck without the feathers pocking you, and filled with enough down (30%) and feathers (70%) to support your sleep. I’m very happy with the purchase, and I definitely recommend it to others.

I bought this pillow because I am a side, stomach, and back sleeper, and I thought that it would be good for all positions. Usually, the stomach sleeping is the hardest to find a pillow for. There are good things about this pillow - it has no bad smell, the case on it is nice and thick so that feathers don't poke out, it's not lumpy, it's not noisy, and it fluffed up quickly after being taken out of the package. It just didn't have the support that I needed to sleep on my side or my stomach. The first night, I had to put my arms under it to give it enough height so that my neck wasn't at a weird angle when side and stomach sleeping. The second night, I added a 2-3" polyester pillow underneath it. I had read the reviews that said it was a little flat and thought that would be ok for stomach sleeping. Flat isn't bad if what is there is supportive, and since this is feathers and down, it just wasn't supportive. Super soft, but not supportive. This may be the nature of all feather pillows, but I'm exploring to see if there is one out there that is right for me.

Ordered Queen and got Standard. They seem comfortable.Pillows made in China with a set of "English" tag instructions indicating that the pillows may have a slight "taste" ( they probably mean "smell" ).

It was nothing like a down pillow. I was willing to pay alot and this was terribly disappointing

This is a great pillow, soft and also has the right amount of firmness. Stays cool overnight which is important to me as I have struggled with that in other pillows. I am very happy with this pillow and will most likely be purchasing another.
