10 PCS Remote Votive Candles

I really love three things about these— first, the remote works so well and I don’t have to run around and turn on a zillion faux candles in lanterns in my house anymore! Second, I love that the whole candle glows, not just a little wick like most faux candles, so they appear brighter from afar than most. Third, they’re so orange! It’s perfect for fall, and I think it’ll look really warm in winter next to white decor. I’ve had mine on each night for a few weeks now and they’re still strongly glowing.

There are two light levels, the lower one works perfectly if you just want the appearance of a burning votive, the brighter setting is helpful if you're using them as a nightlight or in a brighter room. The remote works perfectly. Power on your votive then point the remote and power back off, or use one of the timers (4 hour or 8 hour). If you select a timed setting - it will turn back on 24 hours from when you first select it. To override just use the remote to power the candles on then off. I have a set of five candles in my very dim hallway - lined up along a mirror. They are on the lower light setting, and set for 8 hours. They come on each evening at six (as it gets dark here) and provide enough light to see, but not so much light one can spot the dust bunnies in the corners. I used to use real candles here but worried about them being bumped when folks tried to squeeze by each other in the narrow space. I have five more on the mantle over my fireplace, and they are set on bright as they are often on while other lighting keeps the room relatively bright. These come on for four hours each evening around 7 pm and provide a nice reminder to head off for bed when they "burn out" at 11pm.

I have found that I fall asleep better when I have a bit of a dark ambient light, like candles. So I bought these Remote LED Candles. My expectations were low, but I figured if they didn't work out for what I intended to for, they might be ok for Xmas. These candles exceeded my expectations. So much in fact that I started buying replacement batteries for them in the dozens because I know I'll be using them every night (and I have so far). I was surprised at the battery life, they are very very long. Since I only use two candles at a time, one on each nightstand for my wife and I, we've only went through half the candles and still have enough to last until next year at the rate they're going. The timer function on them is excellent, 4 hour or 8 hour. I set them to about 4 hours because by then I'd be asleep and this really helped with battery life as well. There is a solid and a flicker option for the LED, as well as a button for a slight change in brightness. Otherwise they're just plain old, but very excellent LED Candles. If you want to invest into LED candles but don't like the idea of having to change batteries every coupe of days, then these are the ones for you. The only issue I had, and it's not much of an issue: Sometimes the next day the candles would turn back on based on when you last set the timer. For a awhile I thought I moved into a haunted apartment because the candles would just suddenly be on, as if it knew when I would be coming to bed. I also thought for a minute that my wife was messing with me, but she was freaking out too. When I looked at the poorly written instructions, with part of it blacked out like a redacted UFO document, it turns out it has an auto-on feature, but it doesn't say how to turn it off. So I manually turn them off to break that timer and it seems to help. 100% recommend from me.

I really wanted to love these lights and was so excited to use them for our pumpkins. While the remote and timer features are incredibly convenient and work perfectly, the brightness of the lights was a letdown. When I turned them on, they just weren’t as bright as I had hoped, especially for illuminating our pumpkins in a noticeable way. Overall, they’re a good product, but I wish the lights had more brightness to make them truly stand out.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love these little votive candles and the remote control is a plus. They look very realistic.

These aren't the fancier wax candles that I've used previously and that look like real candles on the shelf during the day (but will melt in high temps). Rather, they're clearly textured plastic from anything but a distance. They still look nice in the dark, flickering like the real thing, so I'm ok with that. And more importantly for me, living aboard a sailboat, they're waterproof. So no risk of a porthole developing a leak and dripping saltwater on one in heavy seas and that shorting out the AAs. Should be good for outdoor use as well, therefore. Speaking of AAs, a fresh set of NIMH rechargeables last well over a month, easily two or maybe even three before they dim to the point of no longer providing any illumination at all. Like other battery-powered LED candles I've owned, you know they're gone when the timer stops working and they just flicker all day. I use one of these in the head as a night light. Sailboats are constant maintenance (but worth it!) and it's nice that these don't add to the list of ongoing chores.

I’m a huge fan of these Pumpkin LED lights! They have a brightness dimmer up or down, as well as a timer for 2,4,6,8 hours! BEST FEATURE: the timer is automatic on and off! So if you set for 8 hours, it’s 8 hours on and 8 hours off. So you just have to set them once! That’s sweet! Highly recommend!

Love these candles, turn them to come on at 4-then off at 10, very easy to use love them ❤️
