Dermalogica Pro Collagen Banking Serum for Face, Plumping and Preserving Skin's Collagen, Prevent Wrinkles and Fine Lines with Amino Acid

I was really skeptical at first and hesitant to buy because it’s pretty costly. But I’m so glad I did. This has quality ingredients that feel like food for the skin and my skin soaked it right up! I’m in my late 30s and lately my skin had been looking/feeling duller and stressed. I have been using this for 2 weeks and it gives me this natural shine I used to have in my 20s. My pores are tightening and the skin texture is smoothing out. My acne scars are looking less noticeable. To know that I am preserving my collagen is an amazing feeling and worth every penny. I’m now buying this for my mom to try!

I previously tried LaRoche Posay products after going through their AI skin analysis but even so the recommended products irritated my skin. I decided to give this line of products a try. I's a bit more pricey than say Cerave, but I feel the line of products have improved my skin tremendously. I had large pores, some hyperpigmentation on my cheeks, and some extremely dry areas around my mout, and dark circles under my eyes. Plus I would always get tiny itchy bumps whenever I went outside. Using this product line has done wonders with no irritation. This particular product feels so good. It leaves your skin dewy but not greasy and a small amount goes a long way so don't be alarmed by the size of the bottle. I would definitely recommend and will buy again. I'm 53 and African American with very sensitive facial skin.

The product is thick and can be used for a long time. It spreads well and is absorbed well. The container is a pump type, so there is no need to worry about contamination. Above all, it definitely helps a lot with elasticity and moisturizing.

Skin feels great and I could see the improvement right away

Disappointed to say this caused a lot of breakouts on my sensitive skin. It does have a decent amount of ingredients, and not sure which exactly could be causing a reaction, but I do not think this is for oily or combination skin. If you have dry skin, it is probably fine! It does plump skin and help any fine lines, so I'm using it very sparily in those areas only and not putting on my whole face and neck.

This review is going to be ongoing as I'm going to update periodically over the coming weeks so keep checking back for updates. I don't normally review skin products until a few weeks of use has passed but I felt that this one is different. Not just because of the price ( i have tested more expensive ones than this ) but because it's the first product I have tested that I have noticed instant results after the first application. First application.... Immediately I noticed my skin was a little shiny which some of that shine disappeared over an hour which has left a healthy glow. But what spurred me to write my review earlier than I normally would is I feel a definite improvement in my skin after only 2 hours. My skin feels flawlessly smooth. My cheeks feel plumper although I cant see any difference but they definitely feel it. No other lotion I have tried has ever had this effect so quickly and many not at all. After 7 days.... I am becoming more impressed with this lotion each day. After a week of use my skin looks noticeably healthier. People are commenting on it so I know I'm not imagining it. Although on close inspection fine lines are still there when I look closely in the mirror, from normal distance they appear to be less noticeable some appear to have gone completely ( although close up I can see them ) and Deeper lines appear reduced. It's a definite change and it's visible. This result is after only one week of using once a day. I'll continue to update as each week goes by I have ageing skin ( in it's 60s ) so face lotions have to work miracles to make any difference in appearance so I'm not expecting miracles as they haven't happened yet but I am going to keep a close observation now considering the unexpected results after only 1 week of using this product I will update again in another week with further results after using it daily for 14 days running. I'm not using any other products whilst testing this one, so any results will be purely this products doing. If this product works it will be worth every penny spent on it. We will see, so far it's looking promising Update.... 6 weeks now I've been using this lotion and there's a deffinate improvement in my skin and complexion. The deeper wrinkles are still there of course but the finer ones are reduced and much less visible at close inspection. I also stopped using the lotion for 7 days and my skin remained looking healthy during that time. I restarted after the seven day break and I can confidently say I am quite pleased with the results of this lotion. I haven't encountered any break out of spots , which happens with most face creams for me and my skin has a fresh appearance. 🔹INTRO & DESCRIPTION🔹 I was already aware of the Dermalogica brand as I know of several celebrities who use it, and it is often listed in the top ten skincare brands. I have always longed to try it, but the price to me was prohibitive. I was therefore delighted to have the opportunity to try the Pro Collagent Banking Serum via Amazon Vine. The pack is 30 ml and its main aim is to plump the skin to give a firmer appearance and smooth or prevent fine lines and wrinkles. 🔹OPINION🔹&🔹CONCLUSION🔹 In the past I have been rather skeptical of the claims made by some other skincare brands. I am currently going through the menopause, and my skin is more dry than it used to be. I also have sensitive skin, so I have to be careful what I choose to use. I have been using this serum for just a week now, and I can already see a difference in my skin. The dryness has eased, and my skin looks so much smoother. I love the fact that there is no perfume, and it is so easily absorbed. I also note that Dermalogica do not test on animals which is very important to me when choosing a product. It really has improved the look of my skin making it feel more youthful, and the fine lines do seem to have decreased. Going forward, my only dilemma is whether I can afford to continue using it, but on the other hand, can I afford not to ??

I think it's always hard to give an accurate review of products like this as they require prolonged usage to usually obtain the desired results meaning an impression after 3-4 weeks isn't really worth anything. With that in mind, I'll give a review of my first few weeks using the product and my general first impressions, so Dermalogica are a well known and regarded brand within the higher end of highstreet skin care, their products cost a premium so at this price point you are hoping for good results. The serum itself seems easy to apply to your face, a little really does go a long way and it has a nice none oily finish once applied, as someone with sensitive skin I'm pleased to report that I've experienced no adverse effects or reactions to this product, the jury is still out on if its having much of an effect, my skin feels and looks good after the initial few weeks of use but I've also started a healthy diet, fitness and lifestyle change for the new year so it could be continued to 5 fruit and veg a day, the 7-8 glasses of water or just generally looking after my health better. I'll keep using and update this review further as time goes on, but so far it's appearing to be having a positive effect.
