WORTH IT!!
UPDATE: inside all of their bags of gold there is a card with 4 things as a buyer if you complete they will send you 2 free addl bags of gold. We did all of them and then some. I have emailed this company for several months and not a single word back. This IS a fun thing to purchase however to lie to your customers and dangle a carrot that they spend real time on is a shame. My review is real and I'm leaving that up. But i wouldn't invest too much time into the promised extra bags of gold. :Where to start!! This was fun in a bag!! It was alot of fun to classify some "clunkers " and with the remaining flower gold, I used my homemade blue bowl. I would call myself a novice so practicing with different types of gold from different parts of the u.s. have been incredibly helpful honing my "skills". I've purchased from a few mines previously (Alaska, Arizona and California) and now Virginia. This has been by far the chunkiest and the most fun so far for the price. I would absolutely recommend purchasing this. No you aren't going to get rich, no you aren't randomly going to find a Giant nugget. But you WILL have a great time and like I said it's great practice to try all different kinds of dirt from different parts of the country. Just buy it already lol

Sad
Unfortunately I must have received a bad bag panned through it 3 times and only found one piece of flour gold. Looked like a piece of glitter. Pretty disappointing probably my last experience.

Fun family activity
It’s a fun family activity. Kids loved to classify and pick out the gold. In this bag we were able to find fine gold. No pickers, or nuggets. I think it’s good for beginners but the value for what you get is minimal. There are multiple types of bags to choose from in which I would try out with the family again.

Nice item
So I enjoy ordering pay dirt from time to time, especially now that my prospecting days are over. I like this supplier because they have different levels and quantity available, also, I use my Amazon points when I get enough so really nothing out of my pocket.Keep in mind that these small bags are just for fun as there is an un measurable amount of gold, but a few pretty pieces. I have spent days in the creek and found less than in this small bag. I will like to try the next level up! I do recommend this product for beginners because it is fairly easy to pan.

Good for kids, easy to pan
I think this is play sand with gold added. Not really “paydirt”. Very easy to pan. Return was what I would expect for the price. Panned out to .13grams. Was good for teaching 2 kids about panning. They loved it.

Read this before purchasing!!
Gold is roughly 40 dollars per gram. I bought 2 of these, in order to average out the gold per bag. I obviously didn't get one of the great lottery bags, together, I panned just under .5 gram. So that's about 20 bucks, top dollar price for this gold. Don't get me wrong, they did have 1 decent sized nugget in each, which represented probably 20 percent of the gold found in each pan. If you are getting into gold panning and want some practice, enjoy the thrill of the hunt, these are a great way to go. Or, you might save a few bucks and buy one of their cheaper bags, still find gold, and still have fun. At over a 60 dollar combined cost, with a 33% return on investment, I don't recommend that you purchase these if you enjoy the idea of coming even remotely close to breaking even.To make matters more complicated, this company does offer an incentive to rate them 5 stars, they will give you a small pay dirt bag with your next order. So read these 5 star reviews with a little skepticism. You have to come close to 1 gram each bag to break even, when you consider that this gold wouldn't be at the top dollar market value, since it's not been purified to 24 karat.I am not an expert gold miner or anything like that. I have purchased several different brands here, and direct from various web sites, and I have to say, this was one of the poorest return on investments I've seen so far.Bottom line, you'll have fun panning for gold, and this bag is no different that the rest, with the exception that it costs 10 bucks more than your average bag. You will get a decent sized small, but heavy nugget. Unless your win the "lottery", that is, you get a bag where they added extra gold, you don't come close to getting your money's worth of gold. They say, if you want to get your moneys worth, but a gold coin or whatever.Ask yourself, does a company with a great product, need to offer an incentive for users to give them great reviews, is it honest? If they can't be honest in one area, are they being honest in how much gold they actually add in each bag or that they even have "motherlode" bags?

More than satisfied!!!
We started gold hunting as a hobby but have only found micro pieces from the areas we’ve been to. My boyfriend seemed discouraged so I bought a couple bags for fun. Just looking at the sealed bag I could see a couple pieces so I felt this would be a good experience. First I was scared to lose some of the gold but after taking my time I felt more comfortable panning. I found the larger pieces first and was so excited. Then realized there was more so I took my time to get the pieces that weren’t as quickly revealed. Then again I saw more. I collected the gold at least 4 times because it kept appearing in my pan after I thought I got it all. I’m sure I washed some out so I’ll be panning the dirt again just to make sure. One bag down one more to go! So far it’s been worth the money, experience and excitement. Can’t wait the second bag to be panned!

Not worth it
That was a rip off. I didn’t expect much and I wasn’t let down. Lol 2 tiny flakes and some flour gold. Klesh gold guarantees 1/4 gram for the same price.
