MXN00810 WorkStar Cyclops Rechargeable Worklight, 720 Lumens

It is an awesome work light, my boss has the same light for 4 to 5 years now and all amazon products that he has had over the years I now go and buy after testing it at work such as this work light. It has come in clutch for dark locations at work when working on vehicles and in work shops where ceiling lights are not close or bright enough. I highly suggest you get one if you wrench or need a magnetic sturdy light that is bright and has a good charging port.

Works great has 2 settings for the light, the lowest setting is usually bright enough to work under dark vehicles. I work on big dieasel trucks and these are small enough to fit in my pocket and have a magnet so you can place them anywhere on the vehicle. I bought 2 of these 3 months ago and have not had any issues I’ve dropped one in a used oil can and it still works. Only drawback is that they take 3 hours to charge but they are a third of the price as the snap on ones. Between both of my lights I usually get a whole week of use out of them before they need charged.

While I think these *might* be a knockoff brand, I actually like these more lol. The brightness options are incredible, seriously this thing is bright AF. The construction is robust, the swivel feature feels like it could withstand a lot of abuse and all around this thing is super solid. The magnet is very strong, and is covered by a grippy rubber coating that protects whatever you're sticking it to from scratching. There's also a standard screw base thing on the bottom which is nice. Charging doesn't feel like it takes too long, especially when they stay charged for quite a while. Working on my car the lowest setting lasted like three days of moderate use before I had to recharge. I'm also a technician on industrial equipment and this has been super handy for lighting up the inside and underside of large equipment when I need both hands for tools and labor. This thing is very worth it, buy it.

If it’s a straight comparison to the snap on version, price not considered, the cyclops would be 4 star the Snap-on 5. Take price into consideration, and the cyclops easily gets the edge. I own both, I think the Snap-on battery life is a little longer but I haven’t timed them to be sure, but you can buy them 3 to 1 against the Snap-on. One user posted pics of the light broken, I’m not sure what he did to it, but my guess is something unreasonable. I have dropped both from heights of over 8’, probably more, onto concrete with no ill effects. In short, this light stacks up to the Snap-on version well, especially considering the price point of the two. Good product at a good price. I have owned and used both brands heavily for over a year in a heavy equipment maintenance shop, working on kumatsu, sennebogen and Macks mostly, for over a year and both work flawlessly still. Just some advice, whether Snap-on or cyclops, I would not use aerosol cleaners such as brake cleaner or contact cleaner on them. I have submerged them, accidentally of course, in oil and have gotten them thoroughly wet with no consequences, cleaners however seem to get through the seal on them so I don’t advise this.

Works very well

I really liked this light because it holds charge for a decent amount of time while the light mode is on high. It is super bright and magnetic so you can have it mount somewhere. The swivel function of the light is pretty cool allowing it to turn completely 180 degrees. The best part of this light is that it’s pretty affordable and unlike buying Snap on or Stream light it’s not gonna cost you hundreds of dollars.

I love this product! This is the second one I've owned (the first one got lost - I think I left it stuck to a vehicle I was working on). This "second generation" version is even better then my 1st gen. It offers more brightness settings and is even brighter on its highest setting. The magnet holds very well (just don't forget where you stuck it) and its compact size allows it to fit into most places. the pivoting points for aiming it stays put. I does have a little hook but I haven't used that feature very much. They also sell a little stand, separately, that can be mounted on a camera style bayonet hole, and it is something I have considered. I just haven't made that purchase yet. All in all this is a durable, dependable, handy item to have. It puts out a great amount of light and because of the magnetic mount it makes it perfect for working under or on vehicles and RV's. I'm thinking I might by another one of these because they are so convenient and work so well. I highly recommend them, and NO, I do NOT have any affiliation or connection in ANY way with the makers of these lights. I just really like them that much.

Super bright! Battery life is amazing!!

Easy to use and charge, this has replaced a head torch to light up those hard to see places on cars & motorbikes. Excellent piece of kit !

Works great. 3 levels,of brightness and best magnet strength compare to other lights. Snaps strong to metal surfaces. USB charging great no more burning through batteries.

This little light is great, battery will last all day (8hrs)on lower setting which still gives great light. The magnet is very strong so even if you only have a small bit of metal to attach it to it will hold.

Best of all worlds, the light setting features are perfect, low light to read chassis numbers and really bright when required. The battery life between recharging is very good and long lasting.
