The Matzo Project Matzo Ball Soup Mix, Vegetarian, Kosher Not for Passover

Terrific Matzo Ball Mix. So easy to prepare. Light, fluffy but holds together and flavorful. I’m already re-ordering. Thank you Vendor.

I was actually really impressed with this. I made a whole big pot of soup with 10 matzo balls from the kit and I used one bag of the plain matzo ball mix to make meatballs and the other to coat my fried chicken. All of it was really good and more flavorful than I expected. A great staple to keep in my pantry.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Matzo Ball Soup!! I love that it doesn’t have any artificial ingredients, I love the Matzo Project packaging design and I especially love that the broth is vegan! My partner is vegetarian and I can make a giant pot for both of us without having to sacrifice anything for either one of us. I add carrots, onion and celery while it’s cooking and add extra wide egg noodles and dill at the end—and then shred up a rotisserie chicken to add to my bowl/leave out of his! He thinks I’m a real Balaboosta!!! (I also keep this on hand to whip up for anybody who has a cold. Even if you add nothing to it, in 30 minutes you have a giant pot of homemade-tasting soup to drop off and you come off looking like a hero!) I grew up on Manichewitz (definitely spelling that wrong) and my mom always had it in the house, but we recently did a (blind) family taste test and there’s just no comparison—Matzo Project’s stuff is just worlds better.

This represents itself as a premium product. I wasn’t impressed with the soup spices. The matzo balls required more oil than mixes, and resulted in an oily taste.

Easy, peasy mix. Tasty soup, and the matzo balls were delicious. Firm after cooking, not soggy, good flavor. I added sliced cartots, celery, onion and some cubed butternut squash. Yummy on a cold night!

I'd never made matzo ball soup before. So glad this was a great success! I added fresh chopped carrots and a dash of cayenne pepper. Yummy! Leftovers were kept in a glass container in my fridge for a week, then reheated. Came out perfect again. This kit included one box of separate matzo ball mix, so I used one portion to put matzo balls into another soup I made weeks after Passover; I still have the last portion in the cupboard for another soup. Good value.

I love making soups! This one is by far the best soup I have had in a very long time! The matzo balls are light and fluffy and the broth is very clean and tasty. I was very surprised and will continue to buy it and recommend to anyone with a discriminating palate.

Worst tasting soup mix I ever tried . Total waste of money. Just nasty , throw it away after wasting almost an hour of my time making it . Who ever gave the go on this recipe got to check their taste buds, their malfunctioning. I would give this product a negative star if I could.
