Upgraded from a Denon X4000 and love the new features of the newer Denon’s. Bluetooth and wifi are awesome. I love changing settings on my phone with the app and I really like the new higher resolution OSD. Works great with my Arendal speakers and the room correction works wonders. Expensive but I dont upgrade often so it worth it to my to pay a bit more up front.

This is my fifth Denon receiver and best one yet. Love the newer OS and expanded HDMI 2.1 ports. Even more, Amazon had this receiver on sale so I had to get it. Nice sound, operability and ease of use, makes this a no brainer high end receiver.

The Denon works great. Sound quality ti very good. Separation is great. Running klipsch all around with 2 12" woofers and room for more.

Bought this to replace my Denon AVR 4500X the jump to the Denon AVR 6800X was a great upgrade the picture quality is better with my Optoma 4K projector and we can hear a difference in the sound quality with our 9.1 system.

Constant, constant, CONSTANT issues when using an Nvidia graphics card and trying to play HDR10 and Dolby True HD. It does not support G-sync, I can't get it to pass through Dolby Vision, I have to constantly power cycle because of EDID issues and so many more issues I could write an essay. I hate this thing with a passion. IMHO it is worse than the x6700h. The only thing better about it versus the 6700 is the GUI and that still sucks. Why does this $4k POS not have screen overlay for Options like Onkyo? Not only does it full screen menu whatever you're watching like Setup does when just wanting to see the playing info but since the last update it won't even return back to the HDMI output you were just on. It just black screens you and you have to power cycle to get it back. {middle finger} DENON.

This receiver replaces Denon AVR-X4400H which I have had since 2017. The new receiver does not have the quality or the power that my old one has. Only reason I replaced it was it stopped working for one set of speakers and having trouble with switching between cable/ sat to tuner

Love the sound quality and performance! Easy set-up. Well organized manual.

Initial setup was quite a breeze. Then the issues started: 1) Audessey would not work with my speakers - multiple incorrect phase errors even though my speakers were correctly connected. You should be able to ignore this, but there was no ignore selection. Weird. But one day 1 the setup would not display on my TV, so no way to correct. On day 2 the setup did display on TV, so I setup manually. All seemed ok and I turned off the unit. When I turned it back on only the front left/right would work. It just lost all the manual 9.2 setup I had done. Not nice. The next morning all the channels died and there was no output at all. Showstopper. I did do the firmware update after receiving it. Very disappointing after seeing all the professional reviewers saying how awesome this unit is. Maybe they are right and I just received a dud, but I sent it back.

Habia pedido el AVC X3800H pero jamás lo embarcaron tardo mucho! Había comprado el AVR X3800H pero salio mal un canal surround trasero y lo tuve que devolver😔, el problema era el envío a la garantía "mucho riesgo y demora"Tardo un poco la devolución monetaria y ya realizada había solicitado el AVC para reemplazalo ya que el anterior lo compre en Buen Fin y tenia un super precio y ya estaba muy arriba casi $8,000🤒Así que la alternativa el AVC X3800h pero al tardar la confirmación y embarque me salio esta única oportunidad por $16,500 más era subir del 3800 al 6800 🥵🥵 con notables mejoras de 9 amplificadores a 11 de 125W a 145W🤗 adicional más entradas HDMI e incluye entradas video compuesto para mi viejo DVD para poner mis CD'sPues no me pude resistir y la verdad valió la pena cada peso!Levanto mis nuevas Polk Audio ES60 y mis viejas Polk Audio S55 como surround !! aúna locura y suena uffLa verdad lo recomiendo ampliaremos no se calienta como el AVR X3800H aun que tenga mas bafles conectados y un volumen alto cosa que 3800 con un peli empezaba a sufrir este como si nada !

Lots a power lots a options works perfect Atmos sounds awesome with this amp shoulda got this the first time instead of compramizing for a amp that didn't have the channels I needed cost is high in canada for this amp along with anything else lol so worth it still
