If you're a fan of solo board games or love horror movies, Final Girl by Van Ryder Games is an absolute masterpiece. Honestly, it's the best game I've ever played! The theme is spot-on, immersing you completely in the terrifying world of a slasher film. From the moment you set up the game, it feels like you’ve stepped into a classic horror movie. The tension is real, the stakes are high, and every decision feels meaningful. The modular system is genius. Being able to mix and match different “Final Girls” and killers with various locations keeps the gameplay fresh and exciting. No two games feel the same, and I keep discovering new strategies and surprises each time I play. What I love most is the level of storytelling it offers. Every playthrough is like your own personal horror movie, filled with twists and turns. The mechanics are simple to grasp but layered enough to keep you engaged for hours. It’s strategic, nerve-wracking, and incredibly rewarding when you finally outsmart the killer and survive. Van Ryder Games has truly outdone themselves with the production quality. The components are stunning, from the beautifully designed boards to the detailed miniatures. It’s clear a lot of love and thought went into creating this game. I cannot recommend Final Girl enough. Whether you’re a solo gamer, a horror enthusiast, or someone who just loves a game with high replayability, this is a must-have for your collection. Trust me—you won't regret it.

Really fun game, this is a great expansion for it. the game itself is very collectible, looks great on a shelf, and a lot of fun to play. every expansion is interchangeable in terms of girl/location/killer. there is even a VERY well made app to track your collection and even generate games at random.

I LOVE Final Girl. I own the whole set now, and picked this up because I missed it on the kickstarter. This is one of my favorite films. How the elves work is hilarious, and the presents add some chaos that I just really enjoy sometimes.

Loved this expansion as a fan of both Krampus and xmas horror movies in general. Fun mechanics and a great addition to any Final Girl game collection.

I enjoy the charisma’s aesthetics, It was hot understand the rules, I mean, but I got to understand real quickly.

I enjoy Final Girl, but I feel like they are difficult for the sake of being difficult. If you don't mind luck base games where the dice really screw you over, then it's a great solo game. As for this specific film, the overall aesthetics are great, and the location/killer specifics are fun. Some of the "Minor dark" cards are far too powerful to be considered "minor".

To not spoil anything I’ll just say that it’s another great feature film that you need to add to your collection.

This one is worth it alone to bring Mrs. Claus to other environments in the series. The hilarity is there and if you're like me just close your eyes and envision screaming, burning puppets....
