See the Headline. This stuff is awesome, and I bought it form a local thia restaurant and they showed me the bottle so I bought it. But cannot get the top off. I even got out my tools, lol.

Such a full flavor!! A nice addition to my favorite condiments.

Absolutely wonderful on stir-fry, wok stuff, rice, etc. I love this stuff & couldn't find it anywhere local. Used to get it for much lower price at an Asian market - but market closed. So happy to find it on Amazon! Bit expensive, but have found no other sweet soy to match it. Used to be able to get Conimex sweet Javanese soy sauce, but that's no longer available either. [Now if I could only find a good sambal brandal!]

This isn't a substitute for any other soy sauce that I know of, and I don't think there are any substitutes for it. I use it as a finish to pad kee mao (drunken noodles). Some people say it just adds color and that you can substitute regular soy sauce for it, but I don't think so. I've tried it and it's just not the same.

Saw a few reviews asking how to open the bottle.

Edit: I would like to add that I contacted Amazon and asked if they would refund through A-Z and they did. Received a bottle in late June and recently opened it. When we did it popped violently like a champagne cork. None of my other bottles have ever done this, so we decided not to use it. I don’t know if it was a storage or shipping issue or if that bottle was just bad, but because there are no returns or refunds, I’m just out the money. Wish I’d noticed that.
