Is the calories on the nutrition facts referring to dry or cooked rice?

I believe dry. If boiled in water i would expect little or no difference.however other additives would increase the calories accordingly. Calories as you probably know are ascertained by burning the food and measuring the energy/output. This has little if anything to do with how a human body processes food. The key thing is the rice is organic and not processed,thus it is good and nutritional with related vitamins etc, in particular B vitamins. Processed white rice will provide no benefits and in fact will cause you harm by removing the Lyme from your bones. In addition.if rice is sprayed with chemicals in the growing process the retention ratio is high. Please as always do your own research and make your decisions totally on the basis of your own information.

Any idea of the shelf life? Between receiving and use by date ?

They come with printed use by dates. Mine had a year on it, but I used the rice within a couple of months
