Zheng Feng Brand Sichuan Pepper Powder, 100 g

Authentic and Fresh Sichuan Pepper Powder I was in search of premium Sichuan pepper powder to use in my recipes and to lend them their distinct numbing flavour, and Zheng Feng Brand Sichuan Pepper Powder did not fail to impress! Pros: Incredibly fresh and fragrant – The minute I opened the packet, I was greeted by the powerful, citrus aroma synonymous with true Sichuan pepper. Perfect numbing effect (má) – The numbing is on point, and my food is given just the right amount of heat and numbing spiciness. Finely ground and easy to handle – No graininess, only smooth, nicely milled powder, dissolvable in seasonings and sauce. Ideal for authentic Sichuan dishes – I have used this for mapo tofu, hotpot, and homemade chilli oil, and it produces restaurant-quality flavour. Cons: The packaging is uncomplicated but does a great job of keeping the spiciness fresh, so no complaints. Having a resealable bag included for ease of use would be welcomed, though. If you’re in search of true Sichuan flavour, this is a great choice. Will buy again for sure!

Not much flavour

Difficult to write a review, but this is a good way to purchase and you get a good quantity at a decent price. I use it to make my Korean chilli oil....delicious!
