Great for outdoor's
I use this all the time on my radio, makes it easy to hear in a noise area. The only negetive I can say is that people say I dont sound like my voise on the other end, they say my base voise sounds a little high pitch. Other then that it works great.

These are perfect!
I have bought 2 of these and had a bunch of friends buy this for their Beofeng UV-5R radios and they just work. Simple as that. They are cheap, have great build quality and they seem to not care about the rain at all! HIGHLY Recommend

Seems lower quality than BTech but adequate
I have a bunch of these things, this one is the second favorite after the BTech. Sound quality on mic and speaker is 4 out of 5.

Very Nice External Mics
Abbree is a company that appears to be committed to quality. It first began as an antenna company for portable two-way radios. The first antennas the company made included very long (42-inch) models that were ridiculed on YouTube. But as the antennas began to be tested, the snickering stopped and people began you take notice. They warned about using the 42-inch antennas on small UV-5R radios, saying that if users weren't careful, the long antennas could damage the radio. I'm still waiting for a video of that happening, but while we wait, this mic is, in my view, the best portable mic you can buy for the $$$. It's durable, lightweight, attractive and it works. I just bought a Baofeng BF-H7 orange radio and this orange and black mic looks as if they were made for it. The H7 is a great radio and this Abbree mic makes a stunning addition to it. Regardless if which radio you have, get this mic. It works well and sounds great x

Great except it doesn't work...
Of all the cheap aftermarket mikes, this one has the longest cord and a decent strain relief at both ends. The speaker volume is about half that of others, not a huge problem, but the killer is bad modulation. I got 2 of these along with other brands to compare (after Commountain, by far the best cheap mike out there, went missing) and the others had inferior cords but did at least work. On one Remtise the modulation was distorted, but I could punch through by speaking up. On the second there was a harsh buzz in the modulation, plus the same distortion requiring speaking up. It may be worse in a strong RF field, but I was transmitting into a service monitor (on all the brands, to compare them) so the RF shouldn't have been an issue. The package came with a "Not Happy? Contact Us" message, so I emailed them a week ago and haven't heard back yet. So here I am.Update: they quickly sent 2 new mikes, which I evaluated the same as before. It seems these mikes have a very strong noise canceling feature. If your mouth is more than 2" from it, you get next to no modulation (observed on the display of a service monitor). But really, really close, like lips touching it, it works fine. The speaker part is weaker than most, so I replaced one with a speaker removed from a Motorola radio and got much louder results. Then I swept the audio band into an original Remtise, an OEM Kenwood, and the revised Remtise. The original Remtise has a strong peak between 300-500 Hz and drops off gradually above that. The other two mikes were relatively flat across the band (250-3000 Hz). The Remtise speaker is very thin, only about 5mm thick. Although 8 ohms, it may be less efficient because the voice coil seems to sit further out from the magnet. That's a guess, as I don't know speaker design. The other speakers were also 8 ohm (which means they should draw about the same power at the same volume setting) but were much louder.Well that's it. They win on cord quality, and if you like super close miking, that's OK too, but you decide on the speaker. They could easily fix that, so I suggest they do. And since most of my customers (I have a radio shop) tend to speak to their mikes from arm's length (not much exaggeration), I don't think they'd be happy.

worked nicely
being a full time security guard I tend to wear and tear through my mics really easy I have to say that at least this one lasted me for about a year before it started to give out overall still good.

It's Just OK
I have purchased several different microphones for use with 2 way radios at a manufacturing plant. This one was not the best, but not the worst either. The microphone feels cheap, but it has lasted two weeks, being used inside, outside, being dropped, etc. The biggest issue is the delay. The 2 way radios we use have about a half second delay between pressing the button, and it picking up sound. This particular microphone seems close to 2-3 seconds. The person speaking can be heard decently, and it produces a reasonable amount of sound.Overall, this microphone is not bad. However, I have purchased other brands that functioned similarly, but were nearly half the price. I did not expect something amazing for the price, but I did expect better than the cheaper options available.
