The best usb 3 hub I ever had
The only usb hub that I have purchased that keeps devices connected, I only use it for my thumb drives, printer,mouse and keyboard but works great. No issues at all. No disconnects or corrupted file issues when using my thumb drives(flash drive). Never used it with a portable hardrive because I dont have the ac adapter that is needed for devices that uses a lot if power .

This unit isn't successful. First unit died in a week, amazon replaced it. New unit gets hot if left plugged in 24hrs. Even if plugged only with usb. Best left unplugged if your Pc powers usb ports while off.

Solid Performer
Solidly made with a nicely extruded aluminum housing. Solid and firm gripping of the USB plugs in each jack and is compact. Allows me to connect a scanner, a color printer, and a SD card reader with a port to spare. Nice! Have it for a few weeks now and works flawlessly.

The product was delivered timely, and was as advertised. It works well, and nicely expands my computer's USB capabilities.

There is a limit on power so consider the external power supply accessory.
Bought this hub to use with my iPod, Passport drive, and Garmin. Everything runs we'll with no speed or power issues.
