Swanson Apigenin Supplement for Sleep Support, 50 mg, 90 Vegan Caps

After 2 years of insomnia, I read about Apigenin and decided to try it. I am resistant to all prescription sleep products and was desperate for something help me sleep. This has been a God-send. I have gone from sleeping anywhere from 2 to 4 hours a night to 7 or more. I find it’s more effective if I don’t take it several nights in a row. But it is finally giving me the rest I need.

I notice a difference when I don’t take my night time cocktail of this and Life extensions’s neuro Mag. It’s not a cure all, I am still having quality of sleep issues, but my sleep is better with it than without it.

I was having terrible anxiety. Going days on end with the "breathless" feeling, feeling like I wasn't able to catch my breath, or feeling like I couldn't breathe from anxiety. It was really uncomfortable, and half the time I couldn't fall asleep because I was so preoccupied with this feeling. This supplement relieved me from this. I don't know how, I thought I was going to have to see an actual doctor. But this really worked for my anxiety and I am amazed. I also fall asleep a lot sooner now and am not staying up until 4am anymore.

The capsules are easy to take and I haven’t had any issues with them, but I honestly can’t say I’ve noticed a huge difference since starting these. I’ll finish the bottle and see if anything changes with more time, but so far it’s just kinda neutral for me.

Sometimes, health supplements have no effect at all, or they even may have bad side effects, but within minutes after taking this product, I could experience a positive effect. I started to feel more relaxed and less nervous. I have started to take it because I read that it has this type of effect on the nervous system and the brain. Nevertheless the effect is rather on the mild side. But only one capsule a day is enough. Half life of this product in our bodies is more than 90 hours. Therefore it has a relatively long term effect. I also read that if we take a higher dosage of Apigenin it may have a sedative effect. I took two capsules a day but saw no difference, however, I still noticed a good relaxing and anxiolytic effect. Therefore, I continue with only one capsule a day. I also noticed that physically and mentally I feel less tired: I think that this is due to the fact that such flavonoids are good for strengthening for the blood vessels; thus the blood can circulate better and nurture the muscles and brain more easily. Furthermore, I read that Apigenin has a destructive effect on the proliferation of cancer cells. With so many benefits, I am surprised that Apigenin is not better known and that not more manufacturers are selling this anti-aging product.
