wath diferene between maxwell sr44w and energizer 357/303

Different manufacturers use different deignations for the same type of battery. Maxell deignates its battery as sr44w while Eveready designates its version as 357. Both have the same dimensions and both are 1.55v silver oxide cells.

The headline says LR44, but the package shown does not. Is this a replacement for LR44 also ?
