Excellent product. Well packaged and delivered on time. There is a lot of smaller pieces as well as loose bark. This suited me as it is so dry even the bits of bark can be used as kindling. This may not suit everyone as it's a little messy.

I have found this wood difficult to keep alight and, when it does burn, it gives out very little heat. It certainly does not react in the way I expect of kiln dried wood. It requires constant monitoring and has to be relit several times a night. Since delivery, the wood has been stored in a dry garage, so the problem does not stem from that. I have had kiln dried wood from this company before and found it excellent value but this year's batch (2018) seems far from satisfactory. Even putting a supply in my basket by the wood burner does not work, as it produces too little heat to dry out any dampness. I will not risk buying this wood again as the wood burner is my only source of heating downstairs.

Most of the logs are too bigs to burn well, disappointed.

We have had wood burner for a good many years and twice a year purchase firewood logs. Up until this purchase there has never been a problem with the logs. These logs take a great deal of lighting even with the temperature of the wood burner is at maximum and when the log does eventually start to burn it is with little heat and with only part of the log giving a flame. An absolute waste of money.

Delivered quickly by helpful driver. Wood exactly as described, some pieces need cut down for stove.
