Great for the price
comparing this to the Logitech shifter it’s so so much better for like $30 more. if you’ve owned a Logitech shifter you know how cheap and unrealistic it feels. this gearbox can handle slamming gears and it feels great because there’s some resistance to it, it feels like you’re actually putting it into gear instead of the Logitech one which has almost barely any resistance. only complaint I could make is it does kinda of rattle and squeak here and there, but if you play with a headset like me it won’t be an issue. also the adjustable shifter is very nice, you could even put your own shifter on if you wanted you just need to know the thread size.

Very Loud but works!
I installed this on my sim rig months ago and it works great but shifting has a very loud metal to metal clunk sound much louder than you would hear even in a race car. It has worked pretty flawless for months so other than sound I can't complain too much

It's very very good
I didn't see many reviews, so I took the leap. This shifter is really good. Very mechanical feeling, satisfying clunking between gears, it feels like a racing shifter. Adjustable height is also nice, and the stainless knob that comes with it is actually decent. the included mounting hardware is one set of short bolts/washers and one set of longer ones. (about 1/2" and 1" respectively). The bottom is perfectly flat, so it mounts nicely, and very securely. The driver was picked up automatically, and binding the controls was easy.My only two gripes are these: The cable should be longer, and the shifting "stick" should not spin. if you're concerned about the first issue, grab a usb cable extender, and you should be fine. As for the second, it's not a big deal, but it would certainly be an improvement. Overall, this is a fantastic peripheral, and DEFINITELY worth upgrading over the stock logitech shifter.

Obnoxious Rattling coming from the stick
The media could not be loaded. Received what must be a defective unit.(Updates in parentheses)The tolerance isn't tight on the bearings so the stick just rattles constantly in N, or 2, 4, 6 R.No good. Not happy. The knob will also sometimes loosen up, or the entire spring mechanism in the box housing will get twisted causing the already rough shifting to be even worse. (luckily this is not a big deal, and doesn't effect use much if it all)No sequential mode or anything of the like. Just a plain old H1-7+ROtherwise it seems like it could be a decent basic shifter. The aluminum is a bit rough, and the spring mechanism is very strong, making it difficult to shift into gear, but it has a very positive feel when going into gear.(After 4-5hrs use, springs have softened up a bit to the point where its not as rough or difficult to shift. Still feels good when going into gear. The only outstanding issue is the fact that the stick rattles very loudly in N, 2, 4, 6 and R, and the stick and aluminum gate can grind away at each other - see photos)If it didn't arrive with an aggravating defect, I'd probably give it 4 star.

Very sturdy blows a logitech out of the water
Great bulky well put together shifter. Gates are fun and give you the classic super car feel. No alternatives like this product!

Fun!
I like it, its clunky, loud, mechanical, adjustable, and you can really feel it going in and out of gears.... I'm happy with it and use it for IRacing all the time. Never had any software issues either.

Sweet, Satisfying Shifts
I upgraded from a modded G920 shifter and this thing is SWEET. Big heavy shifts. It centers itself nicely and sounds great. No issues setting it up. The USB cable is a tad short so you may want to keep a USB extender in mind.
