Tandy Leather Line 24 Snaps 10/pk 1263-01 (10, Antique Copper)

I make holsters, gun belts, wrist bands, dress belts and I use these snaps all the time. The antique finish works great with what ever I make, I always receive my order promptly. The pieces have a snug fit which means the pieces will not separate after installation. I recently had a problem with my order and I contacted the seller by email, I was amazed by the fast response and the way the problem was handled, you can't find anyone better to work with.

I had to try these Tandy snaps because of my frustration with the snaps I had been buying. Although these are made in China like all the others I have been using lately, they are much higher in quality. The cost a bit more but at least you know they will stay on and you won't go through 2 or 3 before you find one that isn't faulty. Obviously the distributor or whoever is in charge of product quality has a whole set of quality requirements that far surpass the QC criteria on the mass produced junk snaps being sold on line. I will be keeping Tandy as my go to source for snaps. I will be comparing some of their other hardware, tools, etc in the near future.

I don't know if it was the mandrel kit I was using or the parts, but it was hard to get them properly seated without the brass folding over the wrong way.

Great value,nice color..but snaps when installed on my sweatshirt..would not engage ! I had to pound down the post part of both male & female components. I still have to twist snaps to engage,but now I can! I believe that the problem(others had same) is that the Length of the post is meant for Thicker material;hence there would be less of the crimped post's height taking up space inside the female(cap) snap component. I have used heavier duty snaps for my leather jackets,but their posts were either shorter in length..or they were just the right length for the thicker material. So the snap set themselves were attractive & good value..just posts too long for thinner material. T

I’ve used these before on different leather projects including holsters and have never had any problems with them.
