Very good hive. We will probably add a few more at some point. Easy to put together. Plenty of extra nails. Seemed to have a good coat of bees wax.

outstanding love it getting back into beekeeping and love that the windows are on it because I'm the kind of person that want to know how things are going and watch both inside and outside the hive. great for friends and family to come and look into the hive without a suit if they believe you that they aren't going to get stung... but is a great way to teach that bees aren't the stinging problem and just watching them makes you calmer... off subject but easy to put together need a couple of night for the frames i didn't use the plastic foundation i put in real wax foundation it took longer but worth it... great price

These boxes are easy to assemble. The instructions aren’t too clearest, but it’s very good quality pine with the bottom board two levels a top board and some windows.

Easy to follow instructions, well constructed product! Would definitely buy again. High-quality materials to get some buzzing around here.

We don’t have any bees yet, but we’ve assembled it and put it outdoors waiting for spring. Assembled fairly easy, but the description should state glue is needed for the slates. I didn’t know that until I was reading the instructions, and it says to use it during assembly. It weathered our winter, which is mild in California, but looks as nice as when we first put it out months ago.

Quality is good, but there was a broken section on the medium box. I was able to save it but quality control is definitely lacking. No chips or cracks other than the one shown. Wax coating is thicker in some spots than others but given I'm in Arizona I'll paint this because the wax coating won't last in our summer heat. I'd buy again because the price is better than most. Took me about 30-40 minutes to assemble the boxes. I appreciate that the frames came with this set, all the pieces are there and well built. I haven't assembled the frames yet. I like the reducer and flat roof with the reflective top.

Love! I’ve ordered 3 kits. Arrived very very fast via FedEx. Very nice looking when assembled. Better quality than any wooden hives I’ve purchased to date. Even the frame parts seem to be made out of better quality wood than frames I’ve purchased at expensive beekeeping supply shops. Screws for assembly are good quality and treated with something for longevity (I verified this with my Uncle Todd who knows these things). Excellent value. One piece arrived damaged (thin lip of wood cracked in shipping) and they rectified pronto. I’ve recommended these to all my beekeeper friends. They really are the best value & high quality.
