Multi adjustable - Easy to Assemble - Great Value
I've had this ten minutes and I'm so happy with it I'm here reviewing already. It was a great price, assembled easily and it adjusts in so many planes you get the microphone exaclty where you need it. Column up and down, boom angle and distance from you and the microphone angle too. The base is nice and heavy so it won't fall over and you have cable clips to keep things tidy. I love it!! My best purchase this week.

Good quality, unfortunately doesn't fit my microphone.
The grip size isn't very large so beware if your mic is quite thick ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Think about how you will use it before you buy
I wanted a desktop microphone stand to hold my studio-quality condenser microphone, along with its shock mount and attached pop filter. Space limitations meant that, ideally, the mic stand would need a boom arm. This desktop mic stand features a heavy base and a boom arm, although it can be used without the boom arm, and includes the necessary fittings to attach the shock mount. Although the boom arm has a counterweight, basic physics defeated my plan. When the boom arm extended to the required length (only a few centimetres), the counterweight was insufficient to balance the approximately 450-gram weight of the mic and shock mount, which caused the centre of gravity to be outside the base. The mass of the base was also insufficient to compensate for the imbalance. Without the boom arm, the stand functions as a standard desktop mic stand. It is not ideal for my needs, but I can use my microphone. So, why am I not returning it for a refund? There are two reasons for this: 1. It can function as a simple desktop microphone stand; and 2. I have a video mic that fits a boom arm without causing the stand to fall over. In summary, it is a functional desktop microphone stand. However, the boom arm is only suitable for lightweight microphones.

Very versatile and high quality mic stand.
This is an excellent small mic stand for putting on your table top or for mic'ing a kick drum or even a guitar amp. It strikes the perfect balance between size and weight and versatility. It is not too heavy, but just heavy enough to hold a fairly heavy mic like the AKG P120 or P220 with no problems at all. You may struggle to balance a really heavy mic like the King Bee II on it, at least in the arm fully extended position, but I'm sure it would be ok with it drawn back. I haven't tried my King Bee II on it yet, as I've just set it up with my AKG P220. The stand is easy to set up in five minutes or less without instructions. It includes a mic holder for your standard SM57/58 type of dynamic microphone, but you probably already got one of those with your mic anyway, still, it's a nice touch, seeing as it includes a mic holder for other more non-standard shaped mics as well. The base is the perfect size to put on a table top without taking up too much space, and while providing enough heft for balancing whatever mic you put in here. The quality of the parts is excellent and can't be faulted at all at this price. The included mic cable clip is another nice little touch, finishing off what is already a great first impression after you first set it all up. If you want to save space you can just set it up without the boom arm and fit your mic straight on top. This would probably be the best solution for table top use say if you were doing a podcast, but that boom arm would come in hand for adjustments say if you were micing up a kick drum or guitar amp, to just get that exact angle where it finds the 'sweet' spot. All in all I don't think you can get a better quality and more versatile stand of this type for anywhere near the money this goes for. It's a bargain. And I have no qualms about putting any of my mics in to it as it's also very stable and well balanced. Just be sensible with it. As I said, maybe a King Bee II or similar heavy weight mic might struggle balance wise using the boom fully extended, but it would pose no problem straight mounted on it I'm sure. This is a very decent quality and versatile little mic stand that I'm sure it will get a lot of use in a lot of different recording scenarios. They really got the balance of features just about perfectly right with this bit of kit.

Good solid unit, does the job.
Nothing special here. Nothing wrong either! It does what it says on the box. Decent value.
