Bought these Nutrition Geeks Vitamin D tablets as they were recommended by my surgeon after foot surgery. I haven’t been taking them for very long yet so it’s too early to comment on long-term effects, but so far I’m happy with them. Only time will tell about the vitamins and how effective they are. But they look very good, sound like there the business and clearly branded very well. I have purchased other supplements from nutrition geeks which I have found to be very good. There are great value for a full year's supply, really small and easy to take, so far so good. Apart from...the packaging looks great, really smart, but in my opinion a bit rubbish! Looks the business but practicality wise could be much better. Yes they are resealable, but there fiddly to open, seal shut again and stand up, but maybe theres a reason why all the competitors use little tubs with lids? Couldn't count how many times the packaging has fallen over before ive sealed it back up and ive had tablets everywhere! Just something to be mindful of.

People here are complaining about either feeling tired or having to go to loo must check other things. I have done a lot of research on Vitamin D, 400iU is definitely not too high and neither does it cause issues with your bowl. Kindly get checked for other things too. * Taste is not noticeable, so it’s easy to swallow without giving any bad after taste. * It has helped me with my sleep as well as helps with imune health. * Brilliant packaging to seal the pouch after use and it’s small in size so doesn’t take too much space. * Vitamin K2 helps with absoroption of Vitamin D3, so a brilliant combination. * Ingreditents are ethically sourced and are suitable for Vegetarians, Geeks nutrition does the Vitamin D3 for “Vegans”. I will highly recommend these to anyone who wants to support their immune system, improve sleep quality, and wants to ensure that calcium is deposited in the bones instead of in blood arteries.

Nice and small easy to swallow

These are easy to take and definitely work to raise vitamin D levels. The downside is that the dosage of 4000iu is exactly the same as the nhs say is the absolute maximum you should consume, with 400iu being their recommendation. So if you take this every day and get any vitamin D at all from food then you’ll be consuming too much, which can lead to hypercalcaemia, which has horrible symptoms. I’ve been taking this for a year and have just had blood tests and been told my vitamin D is too high. I think this is a great supplement for those who have been diagnosed with low vitamin D and are having follow up blood tests, but that it’s not suitable for general daily use. It’s a shame, I think the brand are great, but it should be clearer that this isn’t suitable for all.
