Sharp Blade with Flaws in Build and Usability
The knife is sharp, even on the spine, which feels unnecessary and risky. Build quality as far as the blade and handle is great, its just the dim light and the batteries that go in it is a horrible design. The flashlight is nearly unusable and battery placement is a headache with no markings for guidance. It has decent weight and feels solid, but the lock takes a few tries to get right making the ease of opening a bit to get use to. Once you get past the quirks, it's still a functional EDC knife for the price.

Good size knife.
I own several pocket knives. This one is the only one that doesn't feel like a toy. Feels very well made. All you have to do is get yourself a leather holster. Can't beat the price. I love this knife.

Disappointing quality in manufacturing - not EDC quality - is switchblade not just assist opening.
First things first, the listing says "spring assisted opening" but that is inaccurate as this is a switchblade. Definition from public source: "A switchblade is a pocketknife with a sliding or pivoting blade contained in the handle which is extended automatically by a spring when a button on the handle is activated. Switchblades incorporate a locking blade, a means of preventing the blade from being accidentally closed while in the open position. An unlocking mechanism must be activated in order to close the blade for storage." This knife has a safety button that prevents opening or closing the blade. When the safety is not engaged, the blade opens when you press on the action button releasing the blade which snaps open into the locked position. This action button must be pressed to close the knife which the safety can prevent. I have checked my locality and state which allows possession of a switchblade knife as do federal statues but had not realized this was a switchblade so be warned that you may not be able to possess or buy based on your location. What I had expected was a normal assisted knife which uses a finger tab or raised knob that you move with your thumb and the knife opens once you get the blade moving. There are a number of issues with the manufacturing of this knife that impacts its use as an EDC. One of the wood grip pieces is loose and can be moved on the handle. If you see the picture of the handle where the screw head is stripped that is the side where the wood moves. I tried tightening, but because the screw is stripped it was not possible without removing another screw to replace the stripped one. Grip on the side that does not shift position has a gap between metal part and wood grip. I am not going to try and test edge durability or other use measurements because the assembly is poor I would not use this much especially as the switchblade aspect is not desirable. Not that I expected the flashlight to be a big use case for this knife, but it did not work and not sure if it is the batteries or the light itself. Tried using a battery tester on the button cell "cartridge" but got no reading.
