Can the mixer part of this be adjusted to make it more hot?

I don't think so. But my water wasn't hot enough so my plumber turned up the temperature on my boiler. Now to hot. But that's OK as just add the cold water.

Turn tap on hot and try blowing through feeds. The cold feed should be blocked.

How do I know if my water pressure is strong enough?

You need to measure or calculate it, uyiu can look this up on you tube or get a plumber to checit if your unsure
