I purchased the Scanmarker Pro for my daughter who deals with dyslexia. It’s been very helpful for her schoolwork, especially to use for shorter passages or things that are not on a computer. It’s great that works independently from other devices, so that the user can just scan and read without the additional need for a computer, tablet, or phone. We haven’t had to download another app or have a subscription. The Scanmarker Pro was easy to set up.

Thank you!!! Came in super fast and was really easy to start using. I like how quickly it scans and reads the text back, and the translation feature is really helpful. It’s simple to use, and something I can see myself using for studying and learning Spanish again.

I placed an order for a Scanmarker because I thought it would be helpful for quick reading and translation. When I tried it at home, the reading and translation features worked perfectly. However, I found a few problems. The battery runs out very quickly, and the Wi-Fi connection does not work well on campus. Without a Wi-Fi connection, the device is not very useful. I also think the price is quite high for such a small device. If you could improve the battery life and make the device more practical to use with long-lasting Wi-Fi battery life, it would be a great educational tool for students. Unfortunately, I realized that the product I purchased is not suitable for my needs, and it does not complete the scanning as I expected.

This is incredibly helpful for my son who struggles with reading comprehension. I love how it says the words out loud as well for him to work on pronunciation.

While we live in a world where we have apps that can take pictures of whole pages and translate them in seconds, does this still have a place. I say yes. There are situations where you can’t use your phone and something like this can make a student’s life so much easier. Especially if they are ESL students. I let my Korean friend use this and they said it is very accurate and helps them to focus on the language line by line instead of a “lazy translation” of the whole page. I never realized that it is so important to study a language line by line to learn the syntax and vocabulary properly. This pen aids in that. The screen is bright and vibrant and also very easy to navigate. I can honestly recommend this to anyone who wants to up their language game or just improve wha they are already working on.

This totally exceeded my expectations, and is definitely worth it! It’s easy to use, very accurate, and makes scanning way more efficient. It is a high quality product, a convenient size too. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to streamline their workflow!

This really is a fun advice. It’d be amazing just a few years ago. Unfortunately, with the recent tech and ai booms, it’s somewhat irrelevant. My plan was to use this a magic marker to translate words I didn’t know on the fly… only to realize I need to use an unwieldy rule device to ensure the scanner is looking at the correct word. This works if you are seated at a desk, but not convenient if you are reading from a couch or bed. If they find a way to shrink its size to that of a traditional highlighter, and improved the tip to be truly sensitive to what’s highlighted, I’d be interested to revisit this. It’s a great idea… just 10 years too late.

As a special education teacher, I immediately see how helpful a tool like this could be for students who struggle with reading or need extra support. Anything that can help a student access written material more independently while building their confidence is something I love having as an option.

Éste bolígrafo traductor fué lo que escogió mi hijo como regalo de Navidades, está en su primer año como estudiante de grado de Traducción e interpretación y yo tenía mis dudas si cumpliría su funcióm o no y si le serviría para sus trabajos en la Universidad y tengo que reconocer que ha superado mis espectativas con creces. Se conecta mediante wifi y bluetooth. Tiene un audio excelente y es muy fácil de usar. Viene con cargador, auriculares y manual de instrucciones. Sin duda alguna es una herramienta de trabajo super útil.

Great pen, far more user friendly than the name brand "C Pen" as this one is a touch screen. A few things to figure out with it, not hard, just takes time to learn all the functions because it does quite a bit. I was worried about not getting a name brand "C Pen", but glad we chose this one. Daughter has used it an entire semester now - great battery life, great quality

Battery drainage very fast ..poor performance.
