I added this half way up our fence to add another foot abu e the fence line. Then I added a mask and some plants on it it side and it looks great! More privacy and easy to do, myself no husband required:)

The straw pieces are kind of… flaky? Like little strips of it came off during set up and have continued to fall off. My cat goes on the balcony and wants to eat them, so I am constantly having to check for them. I ordered a similar product from a different company that lasted four years through multiple snowy winters and it held up way better. Unfortunately it’s no longer sold on Amazon.

So I really like this little bamboo fence! It looks really nice and it was perfect for my purpose of keeping a cat out/decorating my patio. BUT it is true that it is smaller in height than what is stated. I ordered a 4 ft tall fence and the fence is 2 ft tall so I need to order another. Also, FYI, it's not thick at all which may be a good thing for air flow but just FYI.... All in all, you will like it if you size up!
