Secrete Sauce at Cone 6
This is great! They dont sell on the main pottery websites but this is quickly becoming the secret sauce for many potters. 4 coats at a hot ^6 gives a super shiney gold, ^5 is gold, but less shiney. Doesn't run, but looses all shine if layed. Really nice on texture too. Photo is ^6+ laguna bmix.

Beautiful Glaze
This glaze is well worth the time it tales to put on 5 coasts. It goes on easily and dries quikely. The color and sheen are just what I was liiking for.

Gold! Realy gold!
Wow. This stuff is amazing. I've tried so many gold glazes that don't work but this looks metallic and shiny and gorgeous! I fire to cone 5 with 5 minute hold and do three coats. It comes out great.

But this Gold glaze
Tried once.LOVE! This is a flat lip of a vase that I'm showing in my picture and although you can't see inside the glaze didn't really run down and pool a lot.I had read what a lot of other users had indicated in some of the glazing groups that I belong to and the discussion was between 4:00 and six codes. I put this glaze on the inside and the edge of this tiny vase though I did do 4 coats inside, and 6 thin coats on rim.It is a very medium thin glaze that goes on nicely. And frankly I am out of my mind happy with the color. My next piece I'm going to redux coats to 5 light coats and see how that works because people said they were fine with only 4, some said 6--- So you know it all depends on the user how this will work for youI decided to try the highest level first. I don't think six is necessary.Of course this glaze is cheaper than other most known brands and yet it isn't cheaper when you consider extra coats. So you'd have to figure it out for yourself with the color is worth it..I don't use gold a lot however this is going to be just an exquisite touch to certain pieces.

Not bad but…
This is not your standard gold. I recommend you test on tiles regardless of the comments. The color is nice after a few coats, but it’s not how it looks in the description. Not unless u have the right lighting. Not a bad purchase for the price and what you can potentially achieve

Not gold!
This glaze is not gold! I've tried cone 6, cone 7, light coats heavy coats and super heavy coats. Dud! If you are trying this glaze anyway don't use it on something that needs to be gold. Use it on something that you don't care about the outcome.

Stunning result!
Very thin, i applied 4-6 coats. Fired to 1230° c and it came out shining bright gold. A bit on the darker side of gold, so antique gold may be I am thrilled. As expected it turned dark under the matte glaze i dippef the rest of the piece in.

Happy with results
love this glaze. I’d never heard of this brand and was reluctant to try it but so far it’s worked great on my Standard 608 brown speckled clay! I’ve used it as an accent. The photo has poor lighting. i like the duller look. zit stayed where I put it and did not run. I used one heavy coat b
