This the only DCT recommended from the manufacturer
This was the fluid that was recommended from the manufacturer, and I purchased it here because it was cheaper than purchasing it from the dealership. I would recommend it to anyone who has a dual clutch transmission and especially if it was a Ford. Quality is of the container itself is just like the one I had at the dealership for me. It works well for the most part with a glass so you can measure the quantity that you have to measure to putting in your car. I am happy with the purchase.

Preventive maintenance on Ford's DCT 6 speed automated manual transmission.
I have 75,000 miles with just over 15,000 miles on my new clutch packs that were replaced under warranty. I love the fuel economy of my Fiesta since I average 41 to 42 mpg on the highway even at 70 mph and I use my car for my job and recieve mileage reimbursement so great fuel economy really helps here. I know Ford has had issues with this transmission and I would like to prevent any other problems by flushing the fluid. I watched a You Tube video on how to do it and the Ford service rep said despite the 150,000 mile factory recommendation he recommends every 60,000 miles. It was real easy to do just remove the driver's side front tire and set the car level on jack stands and open the fill plug which is on the side of the transmission then pull the drain plug with hex wrench. Both the fill and drain plug use the same size wrench. The 1.8 liters of gear lube removed was very dark compared to the light amber color of the new gear lube. I used a pump that I bought on Amazon to fill it up. The transmission is shifting very smoothly and my fuel economy since doing it has even went up by about 1 mpg.

Gear oil for 2014 Ford Fiesta ST
I just wanted to write a review here, so that if someone is in my position and is looking for the correct fluid, here it is. I've seen on the Fiesta forums that people have used different types of gear oil, and while it might work fine, this is the correct oil according to the Fiesta ST supplemental owners manual. It is available online from Ford for free. This is the oil that states in that owners manual that must be used, and it will take 1.8 quarts, so you need to buy two of these. I haven't changed my oil out yet but it seems to use a hex/triple square bolt, so make sure you have a set of those on hand, and make sure you take out the filler bolt first before the you do the drainage bolt. That's all there is too it really, get some sort of a hand pump or something to put the new fluid in and you're good to go. If your Fiesta hasn't had a fluid change in the first 10k miles I would definitely recommend it, because it's breaking in and there are going to be a ton of metal shavings in it. It wouldn't hurt to get a magnetized drain plug as well, so you can pull out even more shavings.
