Our two year old granddaughter just moved out of her crib into a daybed. We bought this for the daybed and it works great. Tall enough that she can stand and hold on to the top. Its length allows her to get in and out, at 4 feet long we have a 2 foot entry exit on a 6 foot bed. Great product, sturdy, well made.

This is absolutely one of the must have for a toddler bed. It gives me great peace of mind when my toddler is sleeping and I don't have to worry about him rolling over. I love that it’s easy to set up without tools and securely attaches to the bed. Occasionally, my toddler leans over the rail, but the frame is very secure, so far no problems. We use this on the bottom bunk so my toddler doesn’t roll out and it’s very sturdy and well made. The mesh is soft, elastic and comfortable. Highly recommend!

The piece itself is sturdy and the video for putting together was useful (the directions in box were not!). However, we have a twin slat based bed and distance between the rail's veritical bars does not match the distance between slats, so there is no way to make it rest on 2 slats. Because of this, a downward push on the top makes it buckle and push at least 4 inches down on one side and push outwards away from the bed. The only way I see this working is with a box spring or platform bed.

Not solid construction at all. The rail is waay taller than it looks in the picture. You get what you pay for.

I love the way this rail functions. The way it folds down is so convenient and helpful! And it’s the perfect size for my child’s toddler bed!

Very safe

This bed rail is easy to assemble and does the job. If your bed has a slatted base that runs across the bed, you may need to add bunkie board that is solid or runs lengthways.

I apparently received a faulty guard rail. I never used it with my baby, I just reviewed the problem. The seller got back to me immediately and are going to make their quality control more strict. I received a refund because I found something at home that worked better than any guard rail. It's faulty if it moves at the fold down section. Mine rocked back and forth at the bending joint. The rest of my original review for the parts that weren't faulty: The directions aren't very clear and I'm the master of directions, especially when they're difficult. But, if you mess up and need to press the metal button to slide two pieces apart, well, I literally couldn't do it. I had to have my husband use his bigger thumbs and even then he was surprised about how difficult it was. There may be padding around the bars, but it's almost not even worth being there. A head hits that and it could still feel the hard bar underneath. Depending on how hard it's hit. It's not a simple fold down and store. You still have the U-shaped bar sticking out, unless you bruise your fingertips trying to take it off. The size was good for a baby on a queen XL, with my table against the side of the head of the bed. It still left a couple feet of more at the bottom side of the mattress. But, my little one never makes her way to the foot of the bed I just ended up putting her crib up against the side of my bed. It's extremely stable, doesn't move, fits against it perfectly. My bed and mattress are pretty tall, though. So, if you have the room, try it. If not, then a guard rail is what you need. If the bed has metal slats, I used zip ties to hold my other child's guard rails in place, since there's no wood to screw into. I hope this helps.

Got this guard rail when we were converting my toddler's crib into a toddler bed. We used it on the open side to keep her from rolling out. It was easy to put together and to set up under her mattress. We like how it clicks into place when extended. Very easy to fold down as well when needing access to the inside. Also easy to store away when not being used.

I was looking for the perfect bed rail and I just found the one. It was a tiny bit confusing on how to install it, but once I figured it out I was very happy with it. It looks great, good quality and I love that it’s foldable! I highly recommend this product!

More expensive than other brands but this one looks the best. Sturdy and looks nice. The metal frame is better than others.
