Once constructed the lamp looks great and it well balanced. Moving the arm does make a noise, but this is a small point as I now have the arm in the place I need it, so I won't be moving the arm again any time soon. I really like the fact that there are different light levels to choose from that suit the task you are undertaking. The brightest light is especially good for close work. The fact that you can operate the light remotely is useful, and would be very helpful for those with limited mobility. I would recommend this light to anyone looking for adjustable lighting, regardless of whether this is for close, detailed work, or something like reading.
