Preheating Mode The detector will access to the 180s' countdown preheating mode after powering on. POWER green indicator will steady on. Do not perform any other operations on the device during the warm-up time, because the alarm will have no response (The purpose of preheating is to adapt the gas alarm to the temperature and humidity in the installation environment). Never in my life can I ever feel anxiety like that again!I’ve tested this out by holding 2 lighters next to it letting gas go towards the meter first it starts giving you readings showing there’s gas in the house, then it starts alarming really loud.
