Clearly superior but has some interesting flaws
A great product for the money but it has some interesting design and documentation flaws. but first - !!!It grinds coffee exceedingly well and the hopper to the knurl does not jam. The last few beans may be reluctant to enter the grind chamber but a few taps on the bean container resolves the problem. There are 2 design problems -The first is that the cup setting seems to bear no relation to the number of cups you want to brew. I suspect that at two settings, fine grind (1) and coarse grind (25), the timing is correct. All the other settings are linear divisions of the two settings and in effect domnot account for the different levels of work, specifically the time required to do that work. My solution is to load the bean container with the required number of cup measures and turn off the grinder when it has finished. The second design shortcoming relates to my only making coffee once a day. I also make 2 or 3 different type of coffee. So a label as to what range of settings to use for the different types is needed. You might argue that I should be able to remember that insignificant detail, but really do you remember what the steady red light on your Nikon battery charger means? So I put a label on my grinder with just that information; see the photo.Likewise, there are two documentation flaws -The documentation flaw is visible in the attached photo. What is that clear object laying on the notepad; it's the unidentified and undocumented chute for your espresso porta-filter.A possible second documentation flaw is that the Amazon page for the grinder (the source for my label) offers more information about grind/coffee types than does the supplied documentation.

Very quiet and efficient
This is a great grinder for a coffee enthusiast! My husband is big on his coffee and loves this as it works well, is easy to clean and doesn’t make too much noise. We use it to grind beans for pour overs and it leaves our kitchen smelling amazing while also grinding beans efficiently!

Absolute must have
This grinder does a great job! It actually grinds so fine, I run it on 4 in my espresso machine. Very accurate grind and cup size. All around just a great grinder.

Overall nice product
Grounds spit out when placing portafilter on the holder. You need to place then raise up in order to stop the issue. The lowest setting still produces more than my double portafilter can handle so it needs to be manually stopped each use. Otherwise it works for what I need to.

Design not practical to use portafilter directly
The grinder is good but this is not practical if you plan to load the portafilter basket instead of the jar. Even with the ring on top of the portafilter there is a good amount of air gap. It would over fill and spill everywhere even when quantity is set at the lowest. Everytime I use, cleaning is mess with the powder scattered evrywhere. I would have loved it if the spill over issue was not there. However the customer support was prompt enough to resolve the issue and informed about an upcoming enhancement to the design. As a curtesy they also refunded me back.

Missing piece
This was my first purchase of a grinder for my coffee beans. I was excited to use it with my new espresso machine but it's missing the Porta filter holder bracket. So even if I wanted to use the espresso filter holder to catch the grounds, I couldn't because I don't have the attachment. The reason I spent the money on this one was for ease of use and efficiency and now this doesn't seem to meet that mark.

Great Grinder
Love the versatility of this coffee grinder. Espresso to Course Ground Beans. Hopper holds a descent amount of grounds so you don't have to grind every day. The only drawback is the lid to the bean hopper isn't tight so please be cautious to prevent a bean spill. Highly Recommend!

Not appropriate for anyone that doesn’t like to clean
1. Coffee goes everywhere because the container for the ground coffee has a gap. I had to bend a spoon and jan it underneath the container to prevent the coffee from scaring across the counter.2. The lowest volume setting exceeds the large espresso cup setting on my espresso maker, so you can’t automatically grind to the correct amount of coffee for an espresso. Also the espresso attachment has a gap that scatters the coffee. It also doesn’t fit the hand tamp.
