Cleans the scalp well!
This is a good scalp scrub for someone on a budget. It smells nice and does a good job! As someone with thick hair, I'm constantly prone to issues with my scalp, especially being in a humid climate. This helps to remove all the sweat and dirt that accumulates on the scalp and helps with relief with dandruff. It wont get rid of all the dandruff but it will significantly reduce the amount to almost nothing. My scalp feels really clean after using it!

Finally a good scalp scrub
I saw this and immediately wanted to try it. I've had issues with my scalp being tight itchy and sensitive to other products. Also wanted something to remove the buildup but for sensitive scalps. It works so well my scalp is not at all itchy or irritated. Even though it's recommended for thin fine hair that may not be the case. I have very thick course hair. I've used it a few times and it has worked so well and is very gentle on my scalp will continue to use.

Very thick but does the trick
I was a little surprised at how thick this was when I first squirted it out, trying to work it into my thick hair was a bit of a hassle but once you add some more water to it, you can feel it cleaning and clarifying your scalp I’ve used it three times so far and I’ve been impressed. Hasn’t left my hair dry at all. I have thick shoulder length hair.I’ll definitely repurchase, I’ve been followed up with a Dove shampoo and conditioner, or sometimes a hair mask from dove

Need a way to reduce scalp buildup (e.g., acne)? Try this!
I love Dove Density Boost Clarifying Foaming Scrub Scalp. My review involves the context of how I take care of my hair and then how I have added this product into my routine. In my mid 20s, I wanted to start my own haircare routine. This routine involves using a pre-wash conditioner to detangle my hair in the shower (and keep it detangled) while adding nutrients to my scalp, preventing hair loss, and keeping my hair smooth. I'd leave the conditioner in while showering and then use a conditioning shampoo, rinsing out my hair with lukewarm water. Lastly, I'd use a small amount of conditioner on the top of my head and then a little bit on the mid-lengths to the ends.I have noticed that my routine, while nourishing for my hair, was resulting in scalp buildup. This can be seen by small bumps on my scalp, that are like acne - they could take days to go away, and feel uncomfortable when brushing my hair. This product, the Dove Scalp Scrub, is meant to combat scalp acne like that. And I believe this is a great product to do so!Once a week, instead of pre-wash conditioner, I use the scalp scrub. For clarification, I take a shower anywhere from 3-4 times per week, with only one where I use this scrub. This scrub helps exfoliate my scalp very nicely. I have highly porous hair, meaning that my hair does not hold moisture in well, hence the routine that is intended to keep my scalp and hair moisturized. I notice that after using this scrub, my scalp feels a cool sensation, like I had just used a peppermint conditioner (very similar feeling)! I have no irritation from this scrub at all, nor do I have hair loss resulting from it. If anything, my scalp is very refreshed. This gives a "detoxifying" feeling, which I love. I would say this product is effective as well; after use, I do not develop buildup on my scalp (e.g., acne). It also helps reduce buildup. For further clarification, I still use my conditioning shampoo and regular conditioner after using this scalp scrub.Overall, I would recommend this product to friends or family if they need a safe and affordable addition to their haircare routine that'd lessen buildup and lead to a healthier-feeling scalp.

Softer and cleaner longer!
I’ve tried several different types of scalp scrubs— I’ve bought rosemary descaler & apple cider vinegar scalp scrub in a tub — I think it was thirty five bucks??!Anyhoo, this Dove tube is way cheaper, easier to use than a tub, and most importantly, it’s way way more effective! Bonus: the scent doesn’t even make me gag continuously like that expensive ACV stuff. The scent is pleasant and smells similar to other Dove products (clean, fresh, not overwhelming). It feels so refreshing and makes my scalp tingle when I’m scrubbing and rinsing. Even with my extremely thick, long, and wavy mane, I am able to make a little go a long way. I make sure to scrub around my edges, part and crown well, wait a couple minutes, and rinse!Best of all— I am very happy that I can squeeze AT LEAST an extra day out of each shampoo now. Since I am using red ken products for shampoo and conditioner, it makes up for its cost quickly AND saves me a lot of hair washing time. It slows the oil and the itch down at a very reasonable price. If you want to get your scalp tingly clean, try it out (and put down the apple cider vinegar). Woo hoo!

Tingling, tingly, tingle scent sation❣️
Dove Density Boost Clarifying Foaming Scrub is an experience not just a Clarifying shampoo.I'm impressed. My stylist suggested I start using a Clarifying shampoo once a week so I decided Dove was a great starting price point and product for my needs.I followed the instructions on the bottle. I moistened my hair in the shower, applied Dove and worked it throughout my hair. Felt weird at first but once I got it all through my hair I could REALLY feel it.It's a scrub/ exfioliator so there's a grittiness to it. I applied a dime sized dollop to my short, thick hair and gently worked it through. Then the sensation began....It's a wonderful, tingle that feels and smells amazing. It didn't burn but I could REALLY feel it. Smells & feels like Peppermint w/o any burning sensation that Peppermint can do.I worked it through for about 30 seconds then rinsed thoroughly, and washed my hair. This is not a shampoo, though it feels like it cleans. My scalp felt clean and less dry after I dried and styled my hair as usual.I am now a loyal Dove Clarifying user. Highly recommend.

Great exfoliation
My scalp gets extra dry in winter. This exfoliating wash helps to eliminate itching.
