I have had this knock box for about a month. I use it about three times a day. I have never had any problems. My only reservation before I purchased was that one review stated that the lid was not airtight and odor could escape. That is NOT what I have experienced. When I look closely I see no air gap and when I sniff near the box with the lid on no odor. The other features that I like that have been listed by others are: rugged, easy to clean, rubber feet to keep it from sliding, large enough capacity for home use, and black + stainless colors.

The only plus is a lid

I love this knock box! I managed a coffee stand for 10 years and would’ve designed mine exactly like this one. The handle is convenient and versatile so I can set it by my sink when I make my espresso and use it to dump my grounds in my garden or yard waste. I knock the tamper on the bar and rinse it before I pull my next shot. I love that it has a thin rubber piece on the bottom so I’m not worried about my countertop when I knock the grounds out. The removable bar makes dumping and cleaning super easy and I love that it has a lid. I leave my lid open just a bit to help the moisture so fruit flies don’t invade. The size is perfect for at-home and takes me about 4-5 days to fill, pulling approximately 4-6 shots per day. If you’re looking for something simple, great quality and inexpensive, this is the one for you!!

I really like this knock box for my espresso machine. it looks nice, stays much cleaner than my old cheap bin. My only wish is that it would be a little bigger since the cross bar is so thick and takes up a lot of room
