MeWe Baby | Healthy Peanut Butter Snacks, Banana | First Solid Food, 6+ Months (16-count)

This was something new I'd heard of and thought I'd give it a try for my 2 year old. My daughter has malabsorption of fructose so her foods are very limited, but all the ingredients in this are on the approved list! It's very hard to find an on the go snack, with protein, that she can actually eat. I'm so happy I found these and that my daughter loved them! I'll be buying a lot more and telling the moms in my parenting groups about it as well!Tried leaving a new review but it won’t let me so figured I’d update this one. We bought the Apple Cinnamon and oh boy does my daughter love it! She’s now 3 and takes “her” peanut butter everywhere. I love that it’s small, easy to grab and go and that it’s minimal mess. She likes that she can carry her own snack in her backpack and that she can to do it all herself. She always makes sure she has her peanut butter on our hikes or outings and I’m all for this healthy snack!

My 7yo daughter has a peanut allergy, diagnosed at 9mo. When my now 2 year old son was born, our allergist and pediatrician encourages us to feed him nut products early on, as new research shows early exposure may help reduce allergies. Considering we’d been a nut-free home for 4 years by then, bringing a jar of peanut butter into the house terrified me. Thankfully I found this product and it has been a wonderful experience.-small portion is perfect. Usually my son just sucks it out of the little packet, but other days I put it on bread, etc-using the packet means I don’t have to worry about residual peanut protein left on the knife or plate-resealable bag keeps them out of reach from my daughter-I started giving these to my son around 5 months- he got them a few times/week. Now he has one a couple times a month. He has no peanut allergy so far. Yay!Thanks for a great product. Please make more using various tree nuts!!

My friend’s daughter is almost eleven months old, and for an early birthday gift I ordered Little Nut for her! (And a cute t-shirt). My friend and her husband were worried about all the nut allergies children have today, and were excited that this might help reduce the chance she develops those allergies. The added bonus: she loved the taste! It also meant a lot to my friend that 100% of the proceeds of the product go to treating severely malnourished kids in developing countries. Win, win, win.

My doctor advised us to give our little one a variety of foods once we started her on solids. She didn't really take to solids until around 10 months and I was advised to try to give her nuts so that she wouldn't develop and allergy. I can't really speak to the advice, but i was freaked out by the possibility of just giving her some Skippy and hoping for the best.I found this product on Amazon and ordered. As with everything I feed her, I tried it first myself and found it to be delicious, so armed with the Children's Benadryl, I squeezed a bit in her mouth and with her approval a bit more and a bit more. This was a total hit. She loves it on bread and crackers. We (thankfully) had no allergic reactions and I continue to feed this to her. I love that this has both protein and iron, things we struggle to get her to eat as she prefers carbs and fruit. I will definitely continue to purchase this until I feel comfortable trying full fledged Peanut Butter.

I bought these to introduce my 7 month old son to peanuts. They did the job and then some! He loves them. I let him taste and then waited 15 minutes to make sure he didn't have a reaction and let me tell you, it was hard to make him wait. He instantly wanted more! After waiting the arduous 15 minutes he showed no reaction and I let him chow down. He ate two packets before I made him stop to take a break! He would've had a third. I tried them as well, they're very yummy. I'm impressed 100% of proceeds go to charity as well. All in all, we love them!

My kids love this as a snack. My four year old asks for it regularly, and it’s so easy to keep a couple in my purse or diaper bag in case of a snack “emergency” [parents, you know what I mean. The melt down in the grocery store, or at church, or any other time that you really wanted to avoid a scene/disruption].I was admittedly skeptical of the picture of a child eating this in a car seat because I thought it would be a little messy. It’s not. The consistency is thick enough that it doesn’t ooze out if a kid clumsily drops it, the packaging works well, and it’s so yummy that my kids wouldn’t dare waste any of it!

I was expecting something more along the lines of a snack bar when I ordered these and was surprised that they are more like individual servings of peanut butter. I ordered these for my toddler as a healthy snack option and was surprised to see her eat a whole pouch. We've also been spreading it on toast, waffles, bananas, etc. I think she enjoys that it isn't sticky like other nut butters that we've been feeding her. Normally she hasn't been too excited to get regular peanut butter, but she really likes these! I just wish I could buy a jar of it instead of the wasteful single-servings!

Baby eats this on toast, waffles, bananas, or crackers. Once big enough for apples and celery will be great for that too. With the banana added in, it is not as thick/sticky as regular peanut butter so is easier for baby to eat without it getting stuck on the roof of his mouth. I recommend this to all my mom and grandma friends. Other friends really liked Mewe's mission to help solve worldwide malnutrition. For being unsalted, it still has a delicious roasted peanut taste with just enough sweet from the bananas without any added sugar. Can't wait to try the strawberry version!
