I saw a similar mount for a few bucks less, but this design appeared to be stronger - there is a difference. And, you got a 'decent' 16" level with these. I got them both today and I'm not disappointed. I'll use them to build a mount for a small set of solar panels. Oddly, one is at the 'advertised' 12" stud length, while the other is 11" - but it won't be a problem. I would mention that these mounts allow only a maximum of 45 degrees of angle. Also, as I had hoped, the O.D. of these fit well into the I.D. of a piece of 2" schedule 40 PVC pipe. These are rugged, tough, well made.

I am using this to mount my Personal Weather Station. An Ambient Weather WS-2000. Works great and allows for adjustments for rotation and tilt to keep the installation square.
