Excellent quality for the price. Small, simple to use, and has great build quality, it feels very sturdy. It also comes with a silicone grip for the grinder, as well as a small brush to clean away coffee dust. Probably alike many others, I purchased this on the recommendation of YouTuber James Hoffman, and I am not disappointed. I agree very much with his advice that a grinder and fresh coffee can be #1 upgrade for your setup, if you are currently buying pre-ground coffee. Pre-ground coffee becomes bitter quickly as it oxidizes. Obviously, it is less convenient than an automatic grinder: it requires you to manually dial it to the grind size you want each time you use it, which can be a hassle if you like to frequently like to drink different types of drinks (e.g., I like espresso, Vietnamese coffee, pour overs, and cold brew). However, it gets easier to remember the dial adjustments over time, and after about a week of using it, I began to remember how much to turn it without having to reset it fully. Additionally, if you are the forgetful type, there is nothing wrong with leaving yourself a written note of what the current grind size is. This is a great hand grinder for those like me who do not have space or desire to maintain a separate appliance just to grind coffee. It would make a great gift for people who like making their own coffee at home, but are still drinking pre-ground coffee.

I’m pretty new to the world of coffee and learning what makes a great cup. One thing I quickly learned is that, besides the beans, the grinder plays a huge role in the whole process. You can have high-quality beans, but without a good grinder, it’s hard to get the best results. That said, I don’t want to drop hundreds of dollars on fancy gear, so I’ve been investing time researching products to find solid quality that makes a great cup, but without veering into premium price territory. While researching manual grinders, I came across James Hoffmann’s review of the Kingrinder P1, and his video really helped me understand what to look for in a grinder. In his review, Hoffmann said the P1 is a well-built, sturdy grinder that felt premium because of its aluminum body and stainless steel burrs. He was impressed by how consistent the grinds were and also liked how easy the grind adjustment was to use. Hoffmann mentioned the comfortable handle and the portability of the setup, which made it a great option for travel. Overall, he said the P1 delivers great performance for the price and produces really good coffee. That said, he did note that some more expensive grinders offer finer control, particularly for espresso. I figured that if Hoffmann was a fan, it would be more than good enough for me, so I came to Amazon looking for the P1. Enter the P2. When I looked, the P1 was unavailable, but I found the P2 and I’m really glad I did. From what I’ve read and experienced, the P2 feels like a natural evolution of the P1. It keeps a lot of what made the P1 great (solid build quality, ease of use, and portability) but adds a more advanced burr set that improves grind consistency, especially for espresso. My experience: The grind consistency on the P2 is excellent, and the adjustment system is super easy to use, which is perfect for someone like me who’s still learning. I also really appreciate how comfortable it is to use. The body is pretty much the same as the P1, so it’s also compact and portable. The build quality feels solid and well-made. It definitely has a premium feel, but thankfully without the premium price tag. From what I can remember, Hoffmann’s only real issue with the P1 was that it wasn’t super consistent for espresso grinds. Luckily, the P2 seems to address that. From what I’ve read, the P2 performs better with finer, more consistent espresso grinds, thanks to its 7-star burr set (compared to the P1’s 6-star burr set). I’m not an expert, but I’ve loved the results so far as much for espresso as for my pour over coffees. I’m really happy with my purchase. It does everything I need it to, performs well, and it didn’t cost an arm and a leg like some of the higher-end brands.

Recomendado.
